  4. Sheldon, the cars are the same no difference between the suspension of 03/04 and 05 sportivos. I have a set of superlow front and rear springs, I will swap for your Tein's if you like.
  5. These bolts are not known to come loose, so the nut must not have been fully tightened. It is very difficult to achieve the correct tension on this nut because the threaded section tends to rotate. The manufacturer has added a 4mm inhex to retain the threaded section whilst tightening the nut. Put the nut on and tighten as much as you can, then fit hex key through spanner into centre and tighten nut to correct torque. Dad says if u want, come past work and he will check and fix it for you for free rather than going back to Capital Steering.
  6. haha i can't believe that j erk is blocked on here
  7. its funny, everyone always says that about meridian. We've never had a problem, i don't think neil has either. Maybe try not being a ***** to them.
  8. Actually, all TRD CAI's are made in the US. All Injen and AEM ones too. CES is aussie made, as is shift performance. Dont know about the others
  9. well thats not really true, because the second number (aspect ratio / sidewall height) is a ratio of the width, so if one changes the other does. But Rob has hit the nail on the head, its only ever so slightly bigger, i wouldnt worry at all.
  10. ??? 1 its a sportivo, so it has to be manual, 2 how do u crunch in an auto?

ok, so I was reading Rob's signature which quoted dongsoo as saying I thought I would do the maths.... lets see.... Toyota 4AC 1.6L 75hp = 46.875 hp per litre Holden L76 (VE V8) 6.0L 348hp = 58 hp per litre Ok, so the commodore does beat the 4AC, but the 4AC is like, 20 years old. Anyway, so I compared a few more options just for fun. Toyota 1ZZ 1.8L 134hp = 74.4 hp per litre Toyota 2ZZ 1.8L 190hp = 105.5 hp per litre!!!!! Nice! Honda K20A (Integra DC5R) 2.0L 217hp = 108.5hp per litre. hmmm, interesting. calculate the weight in...... hmmmmmm, i know what I would pick!

  19. Look for the pics of Corzza's Levin when he did the same thing but in red. Looks sexual. Better on red than white IMO, but it doesnt look that bad.
  20. just wondering why does everyone say that when removing a sportivo box 6th gear breaks?? i sent a sportivo from here to my mech to have the clutch done, he didnt break the 6th gear.. is there a special tool you need to remove the gears?? just curious you don't break 6th when removing the box ...... also you don't pull any gears out to do a clutch as it is when pulling the box apart that 6th is broken or damaged and yes their is a special tool that Toyota should use to pull apart the gear box in a stivo. Yep, Bill's right, its only when pulling the box apart. Also, you dont really need the tool, but it helps.
