  1. interested in white covers with black TRD logo! Let me know how u go!
  2. i listen to most things, at the moment however in the stacker that hopefully should be replaced soon is... Fallout Boy - From Under the Cork Tree Fallout Boy - Take This to Your Grave Matchbox 20 - Yourself or Someone Like You Relient K (cant remember the name) Powderfinger - Fingerprints (best of) Foo Fighters - In Your Honor good music for cruisin!
  3. man thats nasty... its alright we got a nice christmas surprise... christmas day our workshop where we work on our rolla's and where dad's rally car is was broken into and every single hand tool was taken, as well as jacks and a mig welder. nice huh?
  4. I get 674km on 42.15L... i fit 54.55L of fuel into my stivo today... i'd say that was cutting it pretty fine. You still had 5 litres left, had to be good for another 50 kays at least! :D ahh very true sorry, my mistake, i've only ever read a Levin manual, never read a sportivo one. need to find the person who drove my car previously! Sydney people help! :P
  5. made a few parcel shelfs in my time, and put the amp underneath, i find it better because you can hide the amp, no one has to know its there! first time i used this wood my dad gave me called marine ply, probably 10/12mm thick but very strong, have used MDF as well which is fine just be careful when u cut it cos the dust is not good for you. stick to around 12mm but make sure the speaker screws arent to big! measure it with the existing parcelshelf, or make a template out of cardboard, either work. buy some carpet from a proper car upholstry shop, dont be tempted by the stuff they sell at bunnings, trust me they told me it should easily survive in sun, it lasted about 3 weeks before it started disintergrating! to stick the carpet to the wood there is this glue stuff i cant remember its name but its at bunnings or similar, the people there should be able to help you out, and just secure the carpet with a couple of nails around the outside. oh yeah remember to cut your speaker holes first! apart from that its all pretty easy, and looks really good if u pick a nice colour of carpet! and ques just ask!

  7. Saw many corolla's when i was staying at the gold coast, many silver ones driving past our hotel on the gold coast highway (heading south) all with exhausts! Levins, stivo's, sedans. also saw a beautiful silver stivo with big darkish wheels, lowered, different grill, towing a trailer past a servo in coomera. thought it may have been silvabullit but i didnt think u had a tow bar? i dunno, it looked nice anyway.
  8. because caltex didnt want to sell it because they didnt think there was that much of a market for it. Besides, all the other ethanol based fuels in sydney are made by mixing vortex 98 with ethanol as well, so its been around much longer than they have been selling it for.
  9. Incorrect, Caltex delivers all Mobil fuel, they have for years.
  10. nope, as there are no RCA imputs into the back of the stock HU. At least on the pre-facelift, not sure on the facelifted models
  11. which is why you cant buy it for street driving or car racing of any kind

hey mate, dont think i've seen you around either yet, but i'm liking the look of your stivo! i bet if you saw mine, you'd think it was a conquest anyway but really it is a genuine stivo. im normally only around southside or the airport anyway. Two beers emailed me the other day, im planning to ring solartint fyshwick and see what they will quote for getting all three cars done, and if its reasonable, i'll let you both know mate. hope to see u around some time anyway
  13. does anyone know how much a new bulb for a fog light costs from toyota? because its not just a globe, the globe is attached the the water proofing plug in the back, so that we have to spend more money at toyota.

  16. thats why all the fuels are specified as minimum 91/95/98 RON. we get our fuel tested on site, and never has it been exact, always more, but usually only by 0.2 or so.
  17. no progress will be made if he uses it once either. if he has run his car on vortex 98 (like i do) for a while, then no other fuel will feel better than the 98. cars are designed to tune themselves to whatever fuel they get used to using, thats why there are so many arguments over which is better. personally i would never use Optimax, mainly because i used it in my old celica, and the car just started pinging, and when i pulled the fuel filter off afterwards, it was full of ****. Im sticking with Vortex 98 as well.
  18. if only i could put dad's car on the strip to see what it will pull, but then i guess only street cars can have the title of fastest stivo?
  19. i would also like either a diecast one or a remote control one (even though i too have the real thing :P), let me know on here on email me micky_tee@hotmail.com. thanks heaps.
  20. all corolla's with the 1ZZ-FE engine are ZZE-122R, regardless of the facelift or not. Corolla Sportivo's have 2ZZ-GE engines, so the car is a ZZE-123 - facelifted or not The GE and the FE simply refer to the different cylinder heads on the engines.
  21. That looks pretty sweet man! is it just me or does that look longer than oz delivered wagon rolla's?
  22. I'd do it for you, but yeah, im in Canberra Even got those parts ready, just not white. But, it could be an excuse to invest in some Altezza tail lights, if your into that kinda thing. But yeah, that sucks man! Idiots are around i tell ya, only last night this idiot in a commodore pulled out in front of me and i ended up the gutter cos she didnt even see me!
  23. hey mate, have you seen this on ebay yet? Corolla Sideskirts not sure what the price is from the dealer, but worth a look anyway mate.
