hey all, looking for all canberra members!!! a couple of us were looking to start a meet up or something, like other states have done. i know the rolla club have meets every month (i think, Trendact or Glenn please confirm? :P ) so if u like we can start meeting up with them (im sure they wouldnt mind) or if u want we can have a TOC meet first in canberra. but yeah, this is just an expression of interest so we can all firstly find out who the canberra members are, and if anyone is keen! so post up if your a canberra member and if your keen, and rolla club guys, if u could post in here the details of your stuff that might be handy too! thanks heaps guys! a lady came into work a couple of weeks ago with her car (cant remember what it was now) but she came in and said, "do u know anything about cars, mine is acting really strangely." i was about to tell her my reasonable amount of knowledge when her phone rang, and it was her dealer, asking her where she was and to not move the car. next minute he turns up, and very sheepishly informs us both that he "forgot" to put oil back in the car after changing the filter. good dealer huh?

Bates makes dream start to 2006 title race Home town hero Neal Bates has won Canberra's Capital Rally, the first round of the Australian Rally Championship. The Toyota Team Racing (TTR) boss took an overnight lead of 36.9sec into today's stages and was never headed, finishing 1min 12.8sec ahead of Mitsubishi's Scott Pedder. TTR's Simon Evans was third, 10.5 secs behind Pedder. For triple Australian rally champion Bates, it was his first ARC round win since 2001, whilst team mate Simon Evans also showed plenty of speed during the weekend, despite being plagued by electrical problems. Evans won four of the last six stages of the rally but ultimately could not recover from a 1min 20 penalty for being late out of service while his crew tried to fix the problems on Saturday. Today's result sees Toyota sitting first and second in the ARC drivers' championship, with Bates on 36 points ahead of Evans on 32 points. Subaru's Dean Herridge, who competed in the parallel Rally of Canberra event but was eligible for ARC points, lies third in the championship with 30 points ahead of Mitsubishi's Scott Pedder on 26 points. yeah that reminds me, ACT police were given a brand spanking new turbocharged volvo station wagon instead on the WRX, and within a month, it tried to chase a rex and ended up through a brick wall!!! real clever arent they!

the 2 piece one is a levin one, and the 1 piece is for the sportivo. not too much of a difference though mate, u can only just tell the difference

question though, the offset of the rims is ET 40, and the stock rims are ET 45. is this gonna be a big problem? what about when i install my king springs lows? anyone else have 40 offset 17" wheels on their car? cheers guys
