  1. if u guys were keen for a meet, we could probably even organise to do something halfway? then its not so far for u guys, and u could make it back for your meet or whatever. anyone know of some good towns halfway between syd and canberra? i know there is berrima but thats a bit small... maybe we could meet at that huge maccas and shell servo at exeter on the highway or something?
  2. yeah too bad there was no politicians around to hear the sound off lift bouncing off all those walls!!! man i needed to get my car lowered, yours just out handled me around there, nice and smooth i was impressed!!!
  3. thats a tough weekend for a cruise .. its easter weekend and double demrit points .. Yeah we must do some serious planning cos we also want to do a drive through to Canberra. Canberra cruise... great idea!!! we just had our first little meet, met up, drooled over our corollas then went to another car show and drooled over italian exotics like a lambo gallardo, couple of nice ferrari's, and my favourite, 2 lancia delta intergrale's. mmmmmmm!! but yes, cruise would be good, we could organise the bbq part if u would like, and when u get here we could go somewhere and work it all out. start posting suggestions guys!!!
  4. and at last we finally organised something! not a bad little italian car show today if i do say so. but hey, at least we were able to finally meet up (well a few of us anyway) apologies to all other members, it was a last minute thing and only the people who were online at that very moment found out about it, we would have loved to have more there! so whats the go, do we wanna have a set date for a meet every month, or should we just have a meet and cruise whenever we feel like it and most of us are free. im up for a daytime cruise again on sundays, easier to take some pics and stuff. as for availability, most nights are fine with me, but as mick said, probably cant stay too late... but we'll see how it all pans out. cheers anyway to those who made it today! had a mad time, and cant wait till we can increase the size and start to terrorise canberra with rolla pride!
  5. wheel spacers are illegal arent they?
  6. good to see your always willing to help out northy :P
  7. actually... better use the keyboard, or no one else will be able to see it and you'll forget about me lol
  8. i'm also wondering, have they tested a CES CAI with a stock sportivo exhaust? cos i guess they used your cars as test cars, and i know u guys all have the CES exhaust, and i understand that the CES CAI would probably work best with the CES exhaust. however, i have no intention of buying a CES exhaust, but i am still interested in the CAI. similar gain? would love to see some pics/dyno figures cheers guys :D
  9. yeah thats sorta what i was thinking... no problem i was just confused for a second... lol but yeah, pencil me in
  10. what was my job when i used to service for dad when i was little? wash the windscreen, door plate number, and all the sponsors stickers, the rest of the car stayed covered in mud lol. nice work with the idea though, very clever. Just a local team im guessing?
  11. am very interested, but im wondering how they actually attach? i'm assuming its just 2 pieces that attach to the end, or is it a whole new wing with them already attached? i might just be being stupid, but just unsure how they are supposed to fit on
  12. if you were looking for an AEM or INJEN CAI, go straight to ebay, around $350 delivered to your door, usually doesnt take too long. TRD one, should be able to source one through canberra toyota, give them a ring an ask or for the CES CAI, send Northy or Silvabullit a PM and they should be able to help u out with all the details, when it becomes available to the public (is it yet, or still testing guys?) on a different topic though, make sure u check out the Canberra Meet section and make sure u meet up with us when we organise something!
  13. i like the rims u got on your car (i saw a pic over on rollaclub site) where did u pick them up from?
  14. ok well someone suggested next thursday (30th) as a suggested meet day, and (most) people seem happy with the airport servo as a meeting place, so do we wanna go ahead with this? i can organise so we wont get kicked outta the servo, and we can meet there and decide where to go from there? post up, lets hear what u all think!
  15. what i was taught in my advance driving course was to back off whilst applying opposite lock, and when the nose comes back around gently accelerate out of the skid... works real well on a skid pan... never tried it on the road lol!
  16. nah havent seen it yet, but also heard about it from the boys at Ozzy, well at least they told me there was a red stivo there with 18" about a week earlier, so i guess it could be her
  17. the tinter didnt point it out to u before hand? chances are the scratch was already there, could have been there since the day u got it, the tinting just makes scratches in glass a lot easier to see. unfortunetly, not much u can do with it, unless u get a new window!!! i think not :P
  18. hey all, good to see there are more canberra members then we first thought!!!!! tayles suggested a servo, i guess ours (airport) cos its sorta out of the way so its a place where we can meet up first thats sorta outta the way, so we can look at each others cars and decide what we are doing without annoying many people. just a suggestion though, happy to meet up elsewhere. as for when, thursdays are pretty good for me, and saturdays also but preferably not friday, as i gotta play soccer!!! but yeah, keep the suggestions coming and we'll organise something! JOKES !!!!

POSSIBLY THE VERY BEST CHICKEN JOKE EVER: A chicken and an egg are lying in bed. The chicken is leaning against the headboard smoking a cigarette, with a satisfied smile on its face. The egg, looking a bit annoyed, grabs the sheet, rolls over, and says, "Well, I guess we finally answered THAT question." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A little boy came down for breakfast one morning and asked his grandma, "Where's Mum and dad?" and she replied, "they're up in bed." The little boy started to giggle and ate his breakfast and went out to play. Then he came back in for lunch and asked his grandma "where's Mum and Dad?" and she replied; "they're still up in bed." Again the little boy started to giggle and he ate his lunch and went out to play. Then the little boy came in for dinner and once again he asked his grandma "where's Mum and dad?" and his grandmother replied; "they're still up in bed." The little boy started to laugh and his grandmother said; "Every time I tell you they're still up in bed you start to laugh! what is going on here?" The little boy replied, "Well last night daddy came into my bedroom and asked me for the Vaseline and I gave him super glue." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dave was bragging to his boss one day, "You know, I know everyone there is to know. Just name someone, anyone, and I know them." Tired of his boasting, his boss called his bluff, "OK, Dave, how about Tom Cruise?" "No drama's boss, Tom and I are old friends, and I can prove it." So Dave and his boss fly out to Hollywood and knock on Tom Cruise's doorand Tom Cruise shouts, "Dave! What's happening? Great to see you! Come on in for a beer!" Although impressed, Dave's boss is still sceptical. After they leave Cruise's house, he tells Ian that he thinks Dave's knowing Cruise was just lucky. No, no, just name anyone else," Dave says. "President Bush," his boss quickly retorts. "Yup," Dave says, "Old buddies, let's fly out to Washington." And off they go. At the White House, Bush spots Dave on the tour and motions him and his boss over, saying, "Dave, what a surprise, I was just on my way to a meeting, but you and your friend come on in and let's have a cup of coffee first and catch up." Well, the boss is very shaken by now but still not totally convinced. After they leave the White House grounds he expresses his doubts to Dave, who again implores him to name anyone else. "The pope," his boss replies. "Sure!" says Dave. "My folks are from Poland, and I've known the Pope a long time." So off they fly to Rome. Dave and his boss are assembled with the masses in Vatican Square when Dave says, "This will never work. I can't catch the Pope's eye among all these people. Tell you what, I know all the guards so let me just go upstairs and I'll come out on the balcony with the Pope." And he disappears into the crowd headed toward the Vatican. Sure enough, half an hour later Dave emerges with the Pope on the balcony but by the time Dave returns, he finds that his boss has had a heart attack and is surrounded by paramedics. Working his way to his boss' side, Dave asks him, "What happened?" His boss looks up and says, "I was doing fine until you and the Pope came out on the balcony and the man next to me said, "Who the f*#k's that on the balcony with Dave?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A guy wanted to buy a gift for his new girl friend's birthday and as they had only started dating, after careful consideration, he decided a pair of gloves would strike the right note: personal, but not too personal. Accompanied by the girl friend's younger sister, he went to Herrod's and bought a pair of white gloves. The sister purchased a pair of panties for herself. During the wrapping, however, the clerk got the items mixed up and the sister got the gloves and the girl friend got the panties. The guy sent the package to the girl friend with the following note: I chose these because I noticed you are not in the habit of wearing any in the evening. If it had not been for your sister, I would have chosen the long ones with the buttons, but she wears the short ones that are easier to remove. These are a delicate shade, but the sales clerk that helped me has a pair that she has been wearing for the past three weeks and they are hardly soiled. I had her try yours on for me and she looked really smart. I wish I was there to put them on for you the first time, as no doubt other hands will come into contact with them before I have a chance to see you again. When you take them off, remember to blow in them before putting them away as they will naturally be a little damp from wearing. Just think how many times I will kiss them during the coming year. I hope you will wear them for me Friday night. All my love. PS: The latest style is to wear them folded down with a little fur showing.
