  1. You will get more km out of 91 or 98 octane, 98 being the best. In my opinion 95 is a waste of money.

  4. Will the rear Kluger brakes (calipers & rotors) bolt on with out mods to the ACV40 Camry. I know they aren't much bigger (13mm overall) than std but as I've got the Kluger front brakes and Kluger 19"wheels why not have the rear brakes to match. I've looked over all 13 pages of this topic and still not sure, have I missed something. Thanks.

  6. Coilovers start at about $1100, I think it would a over kill as your car is almost 20 years old and all your bushes will be very worn. Lowering springs, new shocks and bushes would be a better option. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/EMOTION-Racing-Suspension-Coilover-Kit-Fit-For-Toyota-CAMRY-XV10-91-96-/161568579636?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item259e3ce034
  7. No photo shopping here, this is the real deal from TRD USA
  8. Looks like I have a limit cos I use my iPad, I deleted a pic from a old post and then I could add pics to new post. Guess I'll be looking into photo bucket or something similar that works with iPad.
  9. Up untill two days ago I was able to upload pics straight from my iPad and now I have to do this, what changed ?
  10. You could get factory 17" alloys and tyres from a aurion or Camry for about $350 a set. I have aurion wheels on my 97 mcv20 Camry with super low king springs.
  11. I would get king spring super lows (2" drop) as I think H&R springs are over priced http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_odkw=camry+h%26r+springs&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X96+camry+spring.TRS0&_nkw=96+camry+spring&_sacat=0
  12. I'm not looking for any horsepower gains, just want the Camry to run smoother and get a few more kms out of a tank of fuel. I get about 700-750km per tank of fuel. I've replaced the plugs and leads and have a k&n panel filter from my old Celica st204.
  13. I blocked the Egr valve to stop carbon build up in the intake manifold and on the valves and pistons. I was on Toyota Nation forum and I came across Seafoam Motor Treatment. My mcv20 daily has done 270xxx km, so Im now waiting for my delivery of seafoam to help clean the carbon build up that is partly caused by the Egr. http://seafoamsales.com/sea-foam-motor-treatment/why-sea-foam-motor-treatment-works/
  14. The check light came on, so I have refitted the Egr valve on top of the delete plate But I did not refit the pipe between the Egr valve and exhaust manifold. This is working well after 2days. I will update again if anything changes.
  15. I've been on the phone to king springs today and they say that the rear springs are super lows not ultra lows. Online catalog is wrong and king springs will be updating that soon. King springs also said from the centre of the wheel to the top of the guard will be about 360mm for the front and about 350mm for the rear with a empty boot (no subs etc) and no tow bar. So I'm going to order king lows and see how that works out. The other option is to order custom front springs from K-Mac, guessing about 60mm lower than std would be right to match the rear super low king springs but as I have a pig of a drive way this probably isn't a option for me.
  16. Sorry, I ment the MCV36 and will do if anything changes john Su.
  17. I got some Egr delete plates off eBay and fitted them on Saturday......so far so good, check light has not come on and I have done about 40km of driving. Maybe the MCV20 is different to the ACV36 camrys.
  18. Great score, I would have thought TRD wheels would be harder to get than klugers. With some lower springs you'll be rolling sweet.
  19. Was the USA 40 series made in a 2 door ?
  20. I found these pics of a TRD 2 door, must be a photo shop. I like it, what are your thoughts.
  21. So If it is coming from catalytic converter, I guess it is usual? Or do does it need to be fixed? (The sound remains about 3-4 mins i guess.) Thanks. No need to replace or fix the cat, both of the camrys (1998 & 2007 models) we have do the same.
  22. I'm about 90% sure that sound is coming from the catalytic converter as it starts to cool down.
