  1. I'll go on a cruise day once it is done. If you can keep up, you can see it! Just to scare you ... calculated 0-200km/h time is 10.2 seconds. I'm working on some weight reductions to improve that, plus trying to source the right manual transmission to get it under 10. im interested to see how you gonna keep the wheels from loosing traction. don't think its gonna be a front wheel drive like the aurions, bunny hops FTW! fuk mick, where do u get these hilarious pictures? lol
  2. Oh dear God. Just goes to show you have to be careful which Asians you pick up. esp thai RACIST! not racist, stating a fact. ;) can't think of any other country that has the more transsexual males than thailand. plus i know up to this day that only this country that has a beauty pageant for transsexual males
  3. holy guacamole! i wanna see this on the 1/4 mile! edit: omg and you're in melbourne! CAN I COME LOOK SEE?
  4. ah sh#t i wanted that grill to get a panda spec sportivo going HAHA
  5. sucks to be you :P dw i've had that many stone chips i wouldn't recognise if i hit one like you
  6. really race specific... but i like! ;)
  7. why didn't this thread show up before when i searched for it? i screwed mine in using the self tapering screws... yes its not the safest thing to do, perhaps i will have to get 2 of those bolt and nut combo from bunnings with a washer to make sure it will never come loose. i tried make the pilot hole a tight one so that the screw sits firm inside i measured it in a way that the extinguisher is snuggly touching the floor of the car so the only possible force that can make it come loose is sideward force (ie. hard cornering) wasn't comfortable drilling holes in the chassis but now its done so yeah... plus i don't think drilling 2x 2mm holes would hurt right??????
  8. hey is that boa on ur dp?
  9. i can see dust o the windscreen already! and is that an iphone i see??? :P dont forget to take it off when u drive though. i forgot to take the mrs galaxy S phone off the windscreen before i drove it and it almost slid off -_-
  10. hey johnnieboi, not happy with the performance of the HPR5? as for the dyno day, someone asked me to join him when he does it, i'll keep u posted when we go trust me u don't need the "extra protection" unless u live on red line every single damn day of your life. that saying i'm still in the hunt for an oil analysis in melbourne and i cant find the bugger! :(
  11. i never knew the face lifts have all windows auto gay.....................................................for us well you learn something new everyday don't cha?
  12. How good is your eye sight? You are aware the ZRE Corolla is physically LARGER than the ZZE as well right? 2+ this. when i hopped in johnnieboi's/vinh's/shinobi's car. the space to stretch my legs was awesome! (yes i dont need much space because i am short, but thats beside the point!) not only the physical size but safety features and electronics all add up as well. notice they even had to have a steelie as a spare to save some weight and costs. we zzes (sportivo not sure about levins) have a full alloy wheel as a spare. in track days we have to remove all the crap fro the boot and that would be around 100kgs and if ur to do that and drive around, i'm sure u'll get more mileage in a full tank ;) of course the heavier the car, the more stable it is on the road
  13. i looked at your tyres and was going to comment on them looking good from the side when i noticed they are federal EVOS! win-win mate
  14. if they are king super lows, they should have a "SL" somewhere in the part number... those ones u bought are probably another brand
  15. he did say pics were coming.....................................................
  16. nice mate, come to our meets so u can be at the centre of attention
  17. That's massive... you must be driving very long distance all the time, 760km per tank, a dream for me !! well i can get 800+ before levels go dangerously low. and that's mainly driving in the city (stop start) don't forget our stivo tanks are 60L. in theory the newer corollas SHOULD BE more fuel efficient than our ZZEs. don't drive it too many times below 1/4 tank, ur fuel pump will sh#t itself sooner.
  18. guans lsd + 6th celica gear... ;) thought it was more though not a bad combo will be getting this when the clutch/flywheel/gearbox sh#ts itself i reckon i can get 850km before the tank runs dry
  19. I reckon i wouldnt get this even if i tried fuel efficiency would be the least of my worries here ;)
  20. if they are for the facelift model.. :( i'll get it from u straight away his is pre facelift mark... i keep bursting ur bubble do i?
  21. even if u pay me i won't do it u got an orbital buffer so its easy for u! and plus ur selling ur car so meh -_-
  22. did a full detail on my car yesterday... i ended up skipping the claying part as i thought there wasn't much contaminants even after 6 months of driving... seriously i dunno why i do it. because i'm an idiot or because I care too much...? -_- everytime i full detail my car i feel a feeling of dread coming up... seriously... CBF DOING IT ANYMORE!!! the most hardest bit is the polish. you have to let it dry before you buff it off, that means it sticks really hard on the paint and u really need to push hard and fast to get the friction going to get it off the wax isn't so bad though... good way to finish up the job next time i'm just gonna do a panel per day because really, while there is a really deep gloss/shine its not worth half of my bloody day when i can be doing something else ;)
  23. plas X and ALOT of elbow grease >.<
  24. yes this is interesting, i'm inthe same boat as u thai. but not as much? i always ran a pipe for cold air somewhat, but since changing to trd and the ported headers, my best fuel efficiency on caltex vortex 98 was 8.18L/100km. i'm now trying BP ultimate for 1 month and see how that goes... then shell v power, then back to caltex... i found that i get more mileage with the caltex vortex more than any other fuel, with these ported headers, that MIGHT change... edit: rememeber, no lifting and shifting at 3.0 to 3.5k
  25. far out thats some bad luck there mate hope theres no trouble getting it up n running soon
