    that would be my friend, that ever since factoty, that car hasnt seen the light of new gearbox oil? i did drain my mates 150,000km factory toyota gearbox oil and found only 1L was in there. very scary and very runny almost the consistency of water... and black i should also add. after the change, tremendous difference to shifting. looked like all the lubricating properties of what was left of the oil was gone. im guessing your car has been driven at least 100,000 kms?

    australia only made OBDII ports a requirement from 2007. some of these pre-2007 seem to be OBDII compliant but in fact they are not. My 2003 corolla isn't OBDII compatible even though the port is shaped like one. i narrowed the type of port down to 2 types... ISO and i forgot the other one. but yeah its a PITA.

    just be mindful the weight of various things will affect the way it sits. not just out the same measurements for all the corners and expect it to be sitting even. my coils were wonky and i had to adjust separate one at one time. frustration mounted when i moved one and the other ride height changed on the other corners. i finally got it the way i wanted and that's sitting a bit lower on the rear. so when i do take seats out for track sessions the car sits evenly.

    get cusco from japan. better quality build and sturdy. the only two thing9s u really need to upgrade the handling on the street are the front strut brace and the rear torsion beam. ultra racing (from memory) rear torsion beam is only 19mm. the cusco is 23mm (same as the discontinued TRD one) thicker is not always better, but helps with the under steering that FWD cars are prone to
