  4. wait wot? $120? i knew beef was expensive there but NOT THAT EXPENSIVE!
  5. the car was assembled at different factories yes. but the 2zzge engines where primarily made in japan. the 1zzfe were primarily made in canada. and yes the OCV from both engines are different............
  6. Bring it back to them n shove a stick up where the sun hardly shines. Get them to fix it.
  7. I won't be back, useless **** website don't let the door hit your head on the way out.
  8. thread locked. please read the buy and sell rules...
  9. Don't listen to this advice, it is wrong. He is trying to get you to buy automatic transmission oil. There are many manual transmission oils an 75W-90 would be fine. Toyota Genuine manual transmission oil is fine, or this(which I have used and am more than happy to recommend): http://www.nulon.com.au/products/Gear_and_Differential_Oils/Full_Synthetic_75W-90_Performance_Smooth_Shift_Manual_Gearbox_and_Transaxle_Oil/#.Um9K2SHPtow There are a couple of Toyota manual gearboxes that do use ATF though.... WOT???
  10. Probably obd I
  11. $1394? Fuuucccccckkkkkkk lololol. Well sydney roads are harsher on the suspension so yeah maybe it is possible for the struts to cark it after 100,000kms. Did they show u the damage parts? If u looking for OEM replacement, go rda rotors. Struts just get cheap ones. Don't go genuine. U will have to bend over n pay with ur @rsehole. Kikikikiki. Bushings toyota not that expensive so just get them there.
  12. Look in the manual. It states what viscosity there is there. I just use western dinosaur oil. I think it's 75w80. And service it every track day or 20,000 kms just becuz it's cheap ($10 per service diy)
  13. did they wash it while you sat there and looked? or did you self jet washed it? if you did it urself, ur pretty much fooked. if they did it, stick a massive pole up their ass (or asses if they have more holes than one) and shaft them to the insurance company. there is NO WAY IN HELL that would just snap off like that. 3 bolts and nuts plus double sided tape you would have stripped off the paint first before snapping those bolts.
  14. All factory toyota radio should be plug n play. Fitting it should be straight forward too if the radio n echo is double din
  15. Awww guess I'm not the first. I still haven't seen one around here though :P Yeah I made sure of it! That condensation problem is scary as! I even went for a carwash on the first day I finished On an unrelated note, I sometimes see you around St Albans; mostly around Stradbroke Dr. To me and my brother, you're famous- the green stivo!!! ^_^ always see him hit lift it at ginifer station at a red light... lolCuz show off to da ladiezzzzzz

  17. should get hello kitty zaust tips :D
  18. just cuz he wanted to copy me. ME. ME!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. he is right. get the fortune autos. but if u just want lows just get the BC BR series. i plan to run my sportivo to the ground so i saved the extra 150. i actually bought the BCs for 1250 back then. Fortune autos cost me 1400. comfty ride and handling. BCs are just harsh. First hand experience.
  20. Umm... I'm not quite sure about the ocv valves being faulting and the engine being able to turn over. Let's just say there was something wrong with the lift ocv. Lift wouldn't kick in. I'm not sure about the vvti ocv though. But my guess would be the car would run in limp mode and only can be revved to 4k. Where abouts are in Victoria? If u are close to the western suburbs I might be able to take a quick look for u and give u a second opinion. I'm no mechanic but at least I'm pretty sure it's not the ocv that's faulty. Hold on to ur money first... Pm me ur details if u want me to come have a look.
  21. chrome... blinding... eyes... argh... X_X
