Supposedly they were illegal to use (foggy or not) unless they were the ones with those yellow covers that stop glare or whatever they are designed to do, like the ones fitted on those police SUV's that are getting around town. Those arguing they were illegal maintained that although they were illegal, if they were a factory standard accessory that came on the car, the cops could hardly expect you to take them off. DJKOR: you'd be the man to ask, are the Aurion headlamps a sealed unit? Paradigm: lol do I know you mate? How did you know what are i was from?? Unless that’s your white ZR with the gold badges that's getting about town? But I can’t see the cops having much of a leg to stand on, it's the exact same technology used extensively by AUDI throughout its range and on a local front by HSV on its E2 range. My thought's exactly it would look quite good sitting along the top or bottom of the fog lamp surround perhaps along the bottom in an L shape :)

Yeah thats a pretty damm trick lens and body by lexus there! these ones on the net can be mounted inside the lens if your clever enough and can get the lens open lol, seem easy enough to fit and install with the options to have them turn on with a switch or with the ignition.

Was just looking at the ZR today and thought i reckon some daylight running lights ala Audi wouldnt look to bad around the foglamp area, has anybody had a bit of play with these before?

As DJKOR pointed out that price of $540 is the list price the actual RRP is $$616.00!!!!, best i could probabley do for you is $$523.60 plus frieght up your way. I'd go back to your dealer and hound them for a better price they should be able to let one go for atleast $582 incl GST or if your really good maybe even $555.00 :P Give it a crack can't hurt.

Yeah i hadnt confirmed my order with ultra racing yet, wanted to make sure it wouldnt affect warrenties etc. then i thought about the D rubbers and wondered how hard the ultra racing ones would be to get again once the ones that came with the new bar had worn out? but im sure getting a new set from ultra racing shouldnt be to much of an issue??

I'm thinking about having an Ultra racing front strut bar and rear anti roll bar fitted at the same time as the king springs now obviously the D Bushes will wear out eventually, how easy are the ultra racing ones to get hold of or are they pretty much the same as the ones on the standard bar? anybody got any ideas lol? cheers

Sorry guys i think i have confused my self and you guys. When i had the rims put on the ZR6 i also put the GPS in the car and at an indicated 60kms on the GPS the speedo would read around 65-67 (was a little hard to be exact with the ZR6's speedo as we all know it has ***** poor markings on it) So after that i figured if i drove around with the speedo showing 65 my true speed would actually be something like 58-60kms which is why im that puzzled to of got a fine... Might put a different GPS unit in the car and see what it comes up with just to be sure?

yes spot on mine reads the other way, to be doing 60 the speedo needs to be showing around 65 not 58 as that calculator suggest :S so im not really sure might have to get the sat nav out again and check again see what the go is :S

Well im running 19 inch advanti gauntlets with 245/35ZR19's, im thinking now that 245/40zr19 would of been a better option because it seem to be between 5-7kms out or so i thought but after today i'm not so sure i worked that out right lol my bad. might have to keep the sat nav in the car at all times now just to be safe... :s

Do any of you other guys with 19's or 20's with skinny rubber have any problems with the Speedo reading all over the show? at 60 i usually find other cars are right up my butt but then on the odd occasion i seem to slowly pull away from them, then today i get a speeding fine but I’m always very careful around town so I’m sure my Speedo is right up sh!t creek! Anybody else had any troubles with this? can I can my Service department to recalibrate the Speedo at all? damm pigs lol :P

Sera709: mate here's a bit of an idea and something that we do alot here, have the inside of the protector painted the same colour as the Aurion and it will blend in and you won't even see it. Check out the pic on My profile mine is done like this :) IAlthough i am going to get the little grey clips painted blue as well. Just an idea.
