  1. Like most tyre shops, they will always tell you to buy the more exy one. List of Tyres I had considered last year. • Toyo Proxes R1R • Toyo Proxes T1R • Dunlop Sport Maxx GT • Dunlop Direzza Z1 • Michelin PS3 well above Potenza Adrenaline RE001 & RE002. • Advan Neova AD08 (Track/Street). Better than PS3 and S001. Caution: Lower load rating for normal daiy driving. Designed for a stripped out race car. • Bridgestone Potenza S001 - replaced RE050, used in LF-A, Audi RS5 & Ferrari 458. Sharper bite, initial turn in through the slalom. More progressive steering & higher levels of cornering grip against the closest rival - Michelin PS3 tyres. I bought the S001 set of 4 for a very special price ($269) last year. I had my new spare rim wrapped in the same tyre just this Saturday for the same price even though the price had increased back to their original pice of $3xx. In the wet, these are awesome. Couple of members witness the cornering on these tyres. In the dry, they are even more awesome. Your best tyre is what you can afford and available in your area. The only influence the tyre shop had on me in buying the S001 was... nothing. I did the research and just rang up and said these are the Tyres+profiles I want in the order of preference and get me the ones that are made in Japan and not in Malaysia, Thailand, etc. Different profiles get made in different countries too for the same brand. Beware.
  2. There is a Remus muffler that has an automatic butterfly valve similar to stock sportivo muffler. But it doesn't drone like varex and other mufflers. It's quite and has a deep tone in high revs. However, it does cost an arm and a leg plus your kidneys ($1K). You can also try Magnaflow resonators and mufflers.
  3. I have ARP extended race length wheel studs fitted in my hubs. So the spare stock wheel in the boot became obsolete for me, as open ended lug nuts need to be used.
  4. Jelly man... Lucky the +35 still available in 5 stud for you. Are you running caps or leaving it JDM style - capless?
  5. Grats on the install. It should be a much better drive. Did the shop test for exhaust leaks and fix up any pin holes on the welds?
  6. I just LOL when i read your sig Duy! That's 3 likes and 2 dislikes (inc myself). Spot on. I don't like the chrome bit, but the black carbon fibre caps have been discontinued. Hey John, they are +42 17"x7.5. My original order last year was for the +35, but then I later found out from the supplier that they have been discontinued and that the website and parts system required updating. What set did you buy?
  7. Kermit is looking for Miss Piggy all around the westside :)
  8. Not too sure about the centre caps though. Yay or Nay?
  9. Spare wheel arrived from Japan this week. Unable to use stock wheel as a spare due to the extended wheel studs. Getting it wrapped with potenza S001 at a special price i bought the other set of 4 last year.
  10. Below items for sale added to 1st post. Corolla Sportivo tailights (JDM modded) and spare wheel+tyre. SSR wheel caps. Fumoto Oil Drain Valve.
  11. If the CES exhaust bend over the torsion beam was blue printed/designed at a certain ride height, wouldn't a car with a lower ride height result in the exhaust piping hitting the torsion beam? • Getting the mandrel bend redone over the torsion beam will fix the problem with the lower ride height. • Zip ties on the rubbers for the hangers do help minimize the muffler movement. • Extending the hanger arm on the muffler will help clear the heat shield better.
  12. Price isn't too bad. Was thinking it would be in the low 100s.
  13. Yah man, as I want to replace the drivers side. Andy bought it 2nd hand. Where ever it was on prior to the ZZE, the previous owner of the mats had cut a square hole for some reason. Maybe to have the clutch pedal come through or what evs. Don't u have a set already?
  14. How much is a brand new set of 4 floor mats?
  15. I use a Turbosmart 2.75" 45 degree silicone hose. However, it cost me $80. Bit exy for something small but then again durable as hell. It's a snug fit, so be prepared for some pushing and shoving on the throttle body and on the TRD cai.
