  1. BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAA!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! That is hilarious. That's what I was quoted to paint and fit the rear skirt, and that involves a lot more labour. Jees Toyota...what the hell? yep, i went to panel beater after that, paint the grill, wing tips, and fitted them both for 150
  2. i think its better not to let toyota paint it, i bought my grille from toyota, i was gonna get it all done at the same place, but they wanted 200 bucks to paint and fit
  3. 10am a white corolla(maybe stivo) dropped to the ground, rear toyota skirt, tinted windows, on springvale rd near the eastern freeway's entrance, looks crazy, it looks like its rear skirt scraped when going down hill
  4. any idea what i have to mod to make it fit to the option grille Marcus? i really want one on mine, isnt it just a stick on like the corolla badge?
  5. do u guys think would be stupid to put the z on the aftermarket grille? i saw some pic says GT Z, WTF! so many names!
  6. sorry guys, i might get out of this gb, sorry
  7. :P :P at tyre skid thats called chirping im pretty sure thats a good thing cuz well it looks and sounds cool lol it shows u have POWER!! but yerh its all about the driver and at wat revs they take off and how much wheel spin u get. well i can chirp 1-2-3 not 3-4 yet :( :P my 2 cents Kaze, u game man to keep in lift up to that speed on da melb roads. Regarding shiftin from 1 - 2 in lift n stayin in lift...U don't need to have clutch adj or short shifter...i run a stock 05 setup...n shiftin from 1 - 2 - 3 in lift with chirping occurs fine. lolz jus gotta be a little harder on the gearstick :D... As Senpai Kaze say...practise practise practise...u'll get it! :D i tried that but it crunched
  8. levin grille? i thought its sportivo grille, and he reckon it wont fit a sportivo? its the same as all other zze series corolla! how about some education on the products first, the one in da pic i think is a trd one, which is same as the optional grille but with cf look and a unique badge
  9. If its me your asking since mid december 06. major engine damage! whoa, what happened?
  10. it wont loose power, in fact 2.5inch exhaust is good for stivo, its just u need a 2.5 exhaust to match the 2.5inch muffler, or u need a reducer?
  11. thats what i thought too, in the game of modifying maybe its too high boost, but if its from the factory, they would of have all the other parts to match the higher boost, its stupid not to, just like golf gti for example, they have a turbo engine in them and more power than 'standard' golfs, its stupid not too have better handling and brake package to match it
  12. i just had my new ecu, now iam hitting lift 10 times every day
  13. i reckon is one interesting engine, 127kw from a 1.4, and there shouldnt be any lag too
  14. sorry, i dont know what i was talking abou :P , what i meant was, the cv joints might be broken too because of such force, the same thing happen to my first car, the cv joints were broken, and after a couple of hundred Ks, its making some horrible noise every time i turn, so u might wanna get that check too, just in case, bozurolla is right could be cheap tyres too, the exowner of my car put some cheap tire on, it make the car feels like a jelly
  15. could be any suspension parts, with that much force, i think it wont be just the rims or tyres that r damaged, for example, cv joints, shocks, could be anything, i agree with the above, go get it check
  16. So what happen if u upgrade to superlow without upgrade the shock? your shocks will die in no time
  17. i got mine done today at nunawading toyota, and they were really good this time, very polite and etc, they even ask me was there any other concerns with the car! they gave my car a silver sticker just like others, its got the date and code number on it. the gain for my car was huge, sounds lot deeper when full throttle, response was better, now i can climb up a small hill with air-con on almost to the max, and three people in the car, and it only require light throtle in fifth gear! iam really happy with the car now, just need to do the clutch adjustment again and for good
  18. if u goto track with your car go coilovers, otherwise get koni yellow + stiffer springs and also some struts and sway bars and etc. i would lowered first, the stock rims on stivo is not bad, but the ride height is VERY bad, do u have a stivo by the way? depends what car u have, if ya have steelies, than go rims first
  19. congrat man, oh and thanks for sharing the info with us
  20. Im not expert, but looking at redbook there is only the supercharged version (If you were saying it isnt that is... I have no idea what the models are). And they mention in the article how the car is powerful enough to beat V8s, I somehow dont think a naturally asperated 1.8L could do that, no matter how well tuned / technologically advanced the engine may be. engine is one thing, weight is another, so just because its a 1.8 natural aspirate engine dont mean it cant beat a big engine v8, lotus 111r( which is 1.8 natural aspirate toyota engine, same as sportivo and celica) is able to sprint from 0-100 in 5.2 seconds, a holden VY SS can only make it into 6 seconds, so a whole second faster, because lotus is soooo light
  21. oh no! iam waiting for my speeding ticket too
  22. spotted a clean white sportivo lowered, i was parked next to it :) , in box hill shopping centre car park, saturday night(chinese new year eve )
  23. some one said go to lexus service centre is better to bring it to toyota
