I just read the owners manual..my bad..on the multi function display model the check VSC warning should not come on while the ignition is set to ON or starting the car..only time it comes on is when there is a problem with VSC..sorry guys i think i answered my own question..read the owners manual next time first..

I need to ask this question regarding the VSC light. I am guessing since you guys have started talking about VSC here i throw the question here. On my ZR6 whenever i start the car i notice the traction, engine light and ABS come on and go off..but i never see a VSC light come on. But i have checked a few videos and i could see that on the AT-X dash the VSC light coming on. My question is..is this normal? Or does this mean i dont have VSC working at all? I dont get any warning lights when i drive as well. And if im not wrong i felt like the VSC did correct a skid one day so i felt like its working. I have checked few videos of sportivo and upper model dashboards and i think there is no VSC light coming on them..instead the VSC warning is integrated into the display in the middle of the speedometer. Let me know whats going on..thanks :)

These are some awesome mods mate..love your ZR6 :) I was wondering did the front strut bar increase a lot more front cornering? because the sportivo already has pretty stiff sports suspensions which i feel is bloody good when cornering..in fact i corner like i have no brakes :P And are you going to do any mods to the headlights? Because i am thinking of getting whiter halogens instead of going for HIDs because i had to remove my HIDs from my other car when i went over pits..so really in a confusion as to go for the white halogens (which is just little white and no where like HIDs) or put on the HIDs..bloody legal issues..i am guessing with the projector lens, the whiter halogens would looks good and not that bad..

I got to get my car tinted too..but im trying to decide whats the difference between Octane and Midnight Express? I had midnight express on my old car and as far as i know that is the darkest legal tint, unless this octane is darker? My main question is are both of these the same level of darkness or different?

I have been switching between 91 and 98 the last few times because I was testing which feels better and gives more mileage. Surprisingly whenever i put 98, not only the car is smooth but the avg consumption goes down compared to 91. Like i get more mileage out of 98 than the 91 and when i say more its by a big margin. So i decided i stick to 98 at all times and the minimum 95 nothing less :)

So when you say South Perth bridge area where exactly is it? Sorry since i havent been to the last one was trying to make sure where exactly it is :). Welcome to the Toyota Owners Club! Nice to see new owners joining the club :) Thats a beautiful car the Presara and sorry to hear about the accident. Damn that must have been a very hard impact. The car proved its strength and safety as the passengers came out not hurt which is a good thing. The 3 & 1/2 month wait is going to be painful but atleast you are getting the car back to the way it was. Anyways keep us updated on how you go. Cheers :)

I just bought a 08' ZR6 few days back..i just love it..its got 15,200kms on the clock and been driving the whole weekend..i can see the fuel consumption stays between 9.7 to 10.5 depending on way i take off the lights..i am really happy with the fuel consumption with the Aurion because I am coming from a 02' V6 Camry which has higher fuel consumption that to with lot less power. I quite often put my foot down (heavy footed) but still got the tank avg around 9.9 most of the time which is nice.. And regards to your TRD Aurion DJKOR, i think thats really impressive consumption with all that power :)

ya i know what you mean Andrew..i was just trying to say we all are happy with what we do to our cars end of the day..and yes dont have to bother much about what others have to say..and i absolutely agree Camry has never had street cred among anyone..and it doesnt bother us too because we arent competing for the street cred :) exactly..no debates over street cred..thats for cars who are competing for it :) and lol @ high schoolers :P

and plus on a car with so called 'zero street cred', i find it very interesting to bring it to a stage where it is unique to the other cars of its kind..so when these people who dig street cred sees this car, they go **** i know that car..i have seen it somewhere and what hes done is neat ;)

just thought I'd chime in on this comment: the Camry has zero street cred, regardless of who owns it. The Camry has plenty of cred it the reliability and the 'get you from a to b' areas. People who know you and what you have done to your Camry may view you differently, but I assure you that it has zero street cred. i can see your point here..but still i find the gen 4s with a little bit of custom visual mods stands out..ofcourse its no skyline when it comes to street cred..and i really dont bother what people have to say because if the car i drive makes me smile thats all i want end of the day :)

All i can say is the Aurion and Camry are two different cars made for 2 different tastes..i would prefer either any day..love the new Camry since im already into them but if i want to continue driving a V6, would only go for an Aurion not any other..and both cars have street cred depending on the owner ;)..people just underestimate the Camry way to much..so thats why i just give them the occasional preview on the streets so they remember a Camry is not just an appliance - an aggressive machine when required :)

Sounds interesting..so this is for the gen 4 camry right? by any chance is this an online dealer or are there any options of getting it sent over interstate? If you could PM some details like the price too :) Cheers
