  1. True John, i forgot about that thread. Not sure whats goin on there. I think Daryl is still working a few things out, my decision was only made today, so maybe there is more to come?
  2. Heya Dean, im not far from you but dont have any equipment to do the job. Im sure a tire place will drop them on for you, for a small fee. Try Cluse brothers @ Parafield The question you pose is also dependent on how low you are planning to lower (if at all?) Im running 18X8 et 38. So if you look at an offset calc: Mine as the control VS: 18X8.5 et 31 Inner Clearance: 1mm MORE(the inside of the wheel to the strut housing) Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 13mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel) 18X 9.5 et45 Inner Clearance: 26mm LESS(the inside of the wheel to the strut housing) Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 12mm(position of the outside edge of the wheel) I would think the front would have slight poke, around 5mm The rear flush (providing it doesnt hit the strut) may need guard work, or will need guard work if lower. Also depends on tire choice, ie stretched or gumby style. Check your specs here: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
  3. Upon discussion with John, i think ill try this out too, i just cant get past the finish on your car Davo.. its so impressive seeing a flat colour like white or silver with such luster! Bloody shops shut tomorrow, dont they know there are two impulsive guys needing to buy these products??
  4. Welcome! Such a beautiful location. The beaches, the food, the people and the rum, oh yes... the rum :) Sweet Chaser B)
  5. Heya everyone. Glad to be able to help out, and thanks for your confidence and voting for me. Ill do my best and we can all rest assured that this wonderful team of ours will make this place a great one. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me. Now i just gotta work out what ll these buttons are for! Representing SA, Pete
  6. SARD sways arrived for the LS, but NO bushes!! Awwwww FTL! SARD sending them out asap tho :)

  7. Dammit John, you know i would be all over these if i had my workshop set up again. I would probably opt for a kevlar/ fiberglass version, made with rubber microbeads for flexibility.
  8. Gees, can we have more advertisement on this page?? I dont think there is enough!

  9. OOhhh looking good mang! Nice bozu style exhaust, a little small in diameter tho! Generally when slamming a car, you will throw out your sway bar dynamics. Im sure there are plenty of adjustable links out there. Cant see why this would have changed tho. Ditto, BAG IT!!!!!!!!! Re coils. Brand isnt as important at this stage as the coils best working range. You need to check that out. Your probably riding around the 60-70mm drop mark or aiming for that? most coils are happiest in the 30-50mm mark (some less) they can be wound down further, but its out of its optimum travel range.
  10. Lesson to all, be sure to use ali-lube or a similar lube on all your coil threads!! I learnt that lesson a long long time ago.. once its oxidised on, not much will loosen it. Sorry to hear about the setback.
  11. Yeah we are a friendly bunch around here B) Only off the shelf Charger that we have found so far is the Auris Bemani kit: http://www.bemani.ch/Unterwebsite/Toyota_Auris_K.htm (from Switzerland) More info from another thread here
  12. Sigma looks bloody great! But that IS300, well, that takes the cake. Soo crazy, actually a little too much poke for me, but il let that slide for now :o Gotta love the stepped rims.
  13. Yeah, ok. That white facelift is growing on me now..needs that lower splitter an modellista grill thats on there tho :) Those would be 19's or 20's wouldnt they?? have to be....
  14. I think they were 400 each or 1200 per set, but dont quote me on that! Nice rims :)
  15. THE SEARCH WONT FIND ANY HITS FOR GPS??

dunno man, i didnt even get a hit for "ZRE GPS" - i was just trying a quick search to find my own thread... or another one like it.. Hmmmmm 'tis strange.

  16. My bad guys, thats for cups over coils.. I didnt look at the pic properly. Bags should be fine to run at any level all the time. Cups over coils are only really for raising when you need to clear things.
  17. Good Work. Dont forget that Air Force are to be run at static coil height, and the bags only for lifting, its best not to drive on the inflated bags if i remember correctly.. so your slammed height will be your ride height.
  18. Not too familiar with the '96, but i would suggest a good pair of lowered springs (nothing over 30mm drop or your struts will fail quickly)some good rubber/rims and maybe sway bar upgrade. There a probably a few guys here that can help you out.
