LOL, The Honda just needs some brushes on the front to sweep the ground.......
Looks like alot of hard earned money was spent toward it...

I usually take mine to Terry Shields Toyota in Parramatta, they are pretty good.
Stewart Toyota in Rockdale and Sutherland are just as good.
With Sydney City Toyota in Waterloo, they do have good customer service, but i really wouldnt recommend them as i have had alot of problems with them previously...

thanks Ronnyboy that matches what the wheel shop dude has said. should i be asking about the offset which is +45 yes?
i was wondering would it be better to stay with 18s and lower the springs, would that handle better and be a smother ride then going bigger?
members personal experiences would be appreciated.
found this sight to be very useful with choosing wheels. http://vrimz.com/
would you be interested in my 17s for your camry
Yes, +45 sounds about right.
Nice choice with the wheels :)
I have the the 17 Inch Toyota Vortex wheels on the Camry.(See below)
Keep your 17's as spare, you never know you might need them one day.....

2010 SX6 has climate control, bluetooth and Clear taillights which the 2009 model is missing

Thank you all for your bits of info...
I'm in Sydney's Western Suburbs ... so if anyone knows of a reliable and honest mechanic out this way, please be so kind as to share :D ...
I think I might ask around as well. I like the idea of buying the parts myself and getting a mechanic to do the job ... I didn't think about that.
Also get a Quote from Terry Shields Toyota (Parramatta) and Stewart Toyota (Rockdale/sutherland)

Hi
If I fixed an aftermarket HU, how can use tap the steering control to the new HU?
Depending on the headunit, you can get a steering wheel control adaptor from a Car Audio place. Mine cost me $280 installed about 3 years ago.
Not sure what the prices are like now, the only thing is, when you use the Steering wheel controller with the after market Head Unit, the response is not as quick as the factory unit.

Because he's a troll. Trolls tend to insult people or act stupidly in order to get people to react.
Good Answer :)
Hopefully he gets bored and falls asleep soon...........
do you realise you posted a reply to this in the year 2010, that post you replied to was posted in 2006, do still think anyone cares after four years?
It will definately come in handy. Especially for the Newbies..
Dont think many people would know that your not suppose to mix different Coolants.
The only problem is they have to read alot of Spam before they get their answer.

Oh,,,, Welcome back (For Now)

Take it to the dealer and get it checked ASAP..
Could possibly be a faulty sensor or fuse, hopefully nothing else...
If the Airbags pop out while your driving, it will cost u an arm and a leg :(

Theres a number of threads with Similar questions...
8.5 inch will fit but you may have issue with insurance..
If you get 19 inch you will need 245/35/R19 93Y (From Memory) Im guessing this is the size thats used on the TRD Aurions
No too sure about 20's, but possibly 245/30s

You will firstly have to buy some aftermarket power folding mirrors, and then wire it up with the included wiring harness. Such example would be this one (same fit as the Aurion even though it says Camry):
The Power Fold up mirrors sounds like a good feature to have especially for Carparks and Shopping centres, Would mine getting something like these for the Camry or one that would pretty much be close to the correct size.. Or even better, somehow modify the existing mirrors to have this feature

If all the above fails, You can also try those Rip off Fuel Injector Service and fluid Flush that Toyota offers, not sure if it will work.
Maybe even Fill up with the Vortex 98 Fuel.......

Hi guys,
New to the Toyota forum and new to the Toyota brand with a 2003 Camry Altise.
I am wanting to know how to replace the lights behind the aircon temp graphic. The one that goes blue to red in an arch to be specific. The light that does no work illuminates the red park and the hazards button. I used to be able to tap the red part and it would come on but it does not work anymore. Also how to change the light in the ignition barrell. What type of lights I need would be a help as well.
Thanks in advanced for any information provided
Cheers
Havent Done this in a while....
There are two pieces of frames. One surrounding the Radio and the other is with the Aircon Nobs
First you need to remove the frame around the Radio.
To do that put the screw driver in between the two panels and push towards you. theres two clips on each side, (about 2 cms from the edge.
Then pull the frame out after removing the speed alert and clock cable.
Remove the Radio
One thats done remove the Cables from the back of the Air con Frame. (3 Cable from Memory)
Then theres two clips on the side and two on the bottom (from Memory)carefully remove the frame.
Then u need to open the white surrounding and change bulbs :)

by the way your location says newcastle, has what you said ever happened to you? There is nothing "castle" about, more like a well thought out plan of catastrophe, although an accurate description many newcastle people may argue that "theres nothing wrong with newcastle"
Whats it with you bagging the Locations of where TOCAU Members live???????????
