    STOP Speeding!!!

This is a fantastic intiative that should be introduced to Australia, I would certainly slow down :D
  2. Welcome, if you check the Meets/Club Events section, you'll find the NSW peoples catch up quite frequently. Enjoy :)

  4. Someone in Melbourne was busted doing 200km/h on Western Ring Road (Which is 80-100), needless to say his car was confiscated. With so many drag strips and tracks now openly available for use, why do it ?
  5. They are like / / WITH a wheel alignement done....cause i have coil overs they "need" to have camber tops $_$;; Enquiring with BB's Garage atm Photo shoot tonight again - shoppo :D What time will you be a shoppo? :D
  6. You should try as much to have your fronts on a neutral camber, that is, like so | | You can have a SLIGHT negative camber like this / \ It does sharpen turn in, but too much negative camber shreads the inside of your tyres. If they're like / / or \ / Have a wheel alignment done asap, as again it will cause un-even tyre wear and also affects your steering. The rear has no camber adjustment.
  7. ahhhh thats right .... the good old monitoring equipment in the car and catching the toyota mechanic driving @ over 160km/h and redlining each gear trick ..... ahhhhhhh mate and i was sure i was told that the car was never meant to be driven over 6000rpm's ..... <_< <_< <_< <_< <_< <_< <_< WTF!!! What do you mean monitoring equipment in the car?
  8. My nephew has two 15's in his VY, the way we resolved his number plate rattle was we cut up an old tyre inner tube to make a rectangle rubber mat, then with double sided tape attached this to where the number plate goes, and then placed the number plate over it as per normal.

  15. I can't say I've ever had problems with Warranty or my Service Manager. They know everything that's changed on my car (Even commented many times that they like it) and have tightened my rear sway bar bolts no if's or but's when it was loose last year. They know that I'm a fussy/picky customer and their service is great. Just remember that the Internet is a source of information for all to use, so you'd be silly to think that TMC doesn't refer to this and other similar forums for feedback and research, especially given that this site has been mentioned by members themselves to service departments with reference to the earlier Sportivo problems.
  16. I think there are different sedan tail lights available o/seas (Hong Kong or Singapore I think) They're similar to the JDM hatch lights, so the difference between them and the AUDM ones is that where the amber/yellow indicator lense and reverse lense is on the the AUDM ones, they have three horizontal white lines if you can picture that. Good Luck getting them though.
  17. I never had a 'before' though, so I'll never really know.
  18. Interested/Attending: 1. Jules/Des - RME1 2. Brandon - BigBum 3. John - gOODbOYz + SPTIVO and another sportivo mate 4. Carlo - IZZ-FE 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Come on everyone, turn up even just for the meet up.
  19. Depends where you drive and how you drive. If most of the roads you travel on are pretty smooth and you're a fairly smooth/easy driver then go for 18's. But if you travel on crappy roads and/or need to go to the city/inner city alot where you encounter a fair amount of tram tracks and pot holes then I would stick to the 17's, a bit more rubber between wheel and road a little less likely to buckle if you hit something, with the stronger, more expensive wheels this isn't such an issue, but on cheaper wheels I think this is something to consider. I dare say you would get more life out of the 17" tyres too. If you're thinking about comfort, the difference would be SFA. But VVTLi seems to do ok on his 18's and he lives in the same area as you.
  20. The Auto needs a certain level of restriction, a cannon would sapp low end performance.
  21. Eva and Beyonce together.... yummm
  22. The tip or the amount of tips doesn't make a difference to how loud it is...
