On Facebook there is a Paul Walker charity cruise happening starting point is at City beach car park tomorrow night Friday 6th December. Leave around 8:30-ish. Since the event was created, 2,000 people have clicked going but I reckon half of it will be as passengers in their mate's car. I am heading straight to City Beach after work anyway. Upon closer look on that photo..... I'd say the black car is from Thailand (look at the buildings around it). Then that means Touring SE is no more. I am still looking for it in the W.A. site car sales but NSW has 6 of GSV50R Touring models left while QLD has 2 of them left. None in Victoria and Western Australia and South Australia. Also checked Tasmania and ACT and both states have none left. I wonder what has happened to stop the sales of Touring SE? Were they limited edition only?

Yeah I noticed that too! I was checking the website out for any new deals on Aurion Touring SE and couldn't find it. I went into Car Sales on a hunch for GSV50R Aurion Touring SE and it's gone too! Not even there either! Sorry it's for W.A. only. Older model does exist but only 4 left! I am glad I got the last one built before the new Aurions came out. Also in W.A. Checked Dealer Demo option and 3 are left there in W.A. One had 14,000 kms which is too much! others 2 are under 9,000 kms.

Yeah that would be great. I was wondering what the interior improvements are on 2012 Touring model over my 2011 Touring model. Good to know the power is crazier! I still can't stop grinning when I floor it to take off after the lights. Smoked SV6, XR6T from standstill until they eventually caught up. Now I know why you think it is like a boat when it comes to suspension. I saw the Touring 2012 model in silver paint this morning and first thing I noticed was my car sat lower than the 2012. And their rims looked smaller than mine? Mine is 17 inch as per Touring specs for 2011 but I think the height of suspension made their rim look smaller. Would you agree with that?

Ok what's the audio system is like? Any difference between your ride and my ride in terms of suspension and power? And is the steering controls same as mine or on totally different level? As for the dash, is yours in black piano finish? Plus what sort of instrument you have that i don't have?

No mate mine's one of the last few Touring facelifted models built before 2012 Aurions came out. On my silver Aurion prior to its write off, the audio system wouldn't work with Galaxy S1. My current black ride worked with S3 after I requested firmware update as i read it in the forum somewhere earlier this year. With the new aurions that have touchscreen model, maybe the firmware is probably buggy so ask around if there was a newer version that came out maybe after the first new Aurions got sold?

Hey mate I have Samsung S3 and it works well with my car's bluetooth audio. I requested to have the audio software updated to include new phones like mine on its service.

And what are your thoughts to it? I noticed the rear end has no black plastic thing as seen on other cars? Also the dash looks different to mine. Especially the audio one and steering controls as well as the Optitron instrument.

Excuse me but how come the tank readings say 548 kms to go after you filled it up yet your calculations had it more? I will download the 2010 excel format and start from there.

I went flying past an XR6T once.....then he turned the blues and twos on TOCAU does not condone street racing, no matter how awesomely fast 200 killer-wasp Aurions are. Actually i wasn't on street racing per se. I was actually on Freeway strictly 100kmh speed limit. He was the one who was speeding yet I passed by him. I don't know what went wrong with his Falcon You sound very confused... or possibly very stoned.... or maybe even both LOL I wasn't confused but I would never drive vehicle stoned! In fact I hate drugs full stop. Maybe I should have been more clearer what year model was his XR6T. His is a Ford Falcon AU XR6T the ones with bug eyes for headlights. Go figure! Didn't realise there was a turbo version of the AU falcon. If it's just the XR6 AU, then yeah that's normal for you to be faster. On the top of his car already having electrical glitches (I saw him struggle to start the car), he was belching smoke which may mean either gear box was stuffed or engine on its way out. Right now he is driving around hoping either of them doesn't blow up on him. I did tell him to get rid of it! Faster than a WRX STI, no, you and your highly intelligent mates are wrong. A stock WRX, maybe. So your car at 100kph can outrun a car travelling at 120kph? On a final note, who is your dealer? Because you are on some good s**t! My dealer is Toyota Scarborough... got my car at 0 kms. Now 10,050 kms in just 9 months. Guess then engine freed up after hitting 9,000 kms. Meh...I don't drive my aurion like a grandpa. I only do that around traffic lights and intersections but takes off fast on highways or freeways. Most of my mates agree that my aurion can catch up with a modified wrx sti only in straight line. IN cornering it's wrx sti's forte! I even smoked my other mate's falcon XR6T and to quote him "how can you go f***ing fast on 100kmh on cruise control????" after I explained how I passed him. He said he was doing 120kmh!

He's right. I had to drive like that for first 1,000 kms with my car last year. Didn't cruise much. Until september arrived, and car went past 1,000 km mark, I started to cruise around alot. I bought car in june last year and right now I am sitting under 10,000 kms. So 1,000 kms each month since then. Yeah lotta cruising lol

Oh yes I almost forgot....I often see a black aurion ZR6 in QV1 car park and my work mate mistook that car for mine when I parked my car next to it. He said the shape of my car and the ZR6 were so similar but only I have cloth seats while ZR6 is leather plus I have 17" alloy rims while ZR6 is 18" aftermarket rims. My question is does ZR6 logo comes in different colours? That's what got my attention. On that car it has Silver Z, Blue R and Red 6 or Blue Z Silver R but still red 6. I will have another close look on monday.

LOL yes you could have seen me around Curtin Uni cos that's my short cut to Riverton or elsewhere :) I often drive on Kent St to get to Manning Rd then take off to elsewhere from there. So far I think I am the only black facelift aurion in Victoria Park area alone. I kept seeing 2 different white aurions between Canning Hwy and Manning Rd, yours and the other one with DRL lights and numberplate SUSPENDED *not sure if you know it?* and the silver one you mentioned earlier. I haven't seen the other silver one with lexus grill yet.

I have seen that car a number of times around curtin uni area on weekeends. Think he is a local living near curtin uni. And I thought I saw you at Shell Petrol Station in South Perth off canning hwy (the one next door to HJ) on wednesday night around before 9pm.

Spotted last night around 10:20 to 10:45 - ish pm a white Aurion with black number plate and white lettering saying SUSPENDED. He had DRL on his car which looks cool. Do any of you guys know this one?
