  1. @DJKOR tested it on IE8. No problems. It must be my Firefox then.

in IE go to TOOLS then COMPATABILITY VIEW.. check that and see if it changes

  2. I thought the original layout was RED not blue  I like this new colour but some things don't work for me. The right hand side of the forum homepage keeps "loading/waiting". Not sure why. It's easier to read as well for me.
  3. The new homepage keeps "waiting" can't use some things and some layouts are overlapping each other

tried that didn't work. IE8 is fine for me but Firefox isn't. Checking for updates.

  4. I There's only 3 P's driving an Aurion at my uni and i'm one of them. The problem is that they don't care about their which LOTS of bird droppings and dirt on their car and they don't care.
  5. Would the paint be able to withstand soap washes when cleaning brake dust off? I see some of the paint has disappeared with the tyres on. Was the due to putting the tyre on?
  6. And then what would you say about the Denso ones that are in your Aurion at the moment? If it ain't broke, then don't fix it would be what I would say. And I see what you did in that other thread. You changed your mind and decided to service it yourself. Why the change of mind? thats a good question, i looked it up for myself once and it wasnt too bad much cheaper than the $140odd Scotta paid. Ill have a look tomorrow and see what i can do a set for. :) If you can do better than $118, then I need to make friends with another parts dealer On a side note, I'm glad that the TRD spark plugs are easier to change than the non-TRD. I thought initially that you had to take the engine out but now since you don't have to then i can do it myself. Never like any car repair/service centre because they always charger you a bul*s**t amount for something you can do. The best example was when i asked them to do a oil service for the landcruiser. They charged me $189 and then i thought they would be using good oil but in fact they told me they were using 20w-50 oil <_< Refused on the spot, drove to SCA and bought valvoline 10w-40 oil and a filter for $60 and did it myself.
  7. Please don't listen to what companies all say. It's marketing bull****. You can get the tyre i previously mentioned, Yokohama Parada Spec-x which are cheaper than the bridgestone and perform better. Check these 2 websites if you want choose a 4wd tyre. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/index.jsp http://www.1010tires.com/Tires/Reviews
  8. Welcome to the forum. Please read the thread you made a while back in which i replied http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29946
  9. It's similar to gymnastics. I see gymnastics as the best sportspeople in the world. They require power, endurance and flexability. This guy is a freak just like gymnastics people. I do study rehab and how to teach people to activate their TA. (Proper name for "core")
  10. You'll need 6 litres of oil in the Aurion 6.1L to be more precise. IMO driving under normal conditions and using Royal Purple would be completely pointless. You aren't racing the car so using such a high end oil is not needed. Considering you are driving at extreme levels due to the distance you are traveling it would be better to get a cheaper oil and changing it more often.
  11. Thanks DJKOR. There shouldn't be a difference in the Denso or NGK spark plugs so i'll go with NGK. Have had good experience with them in the past. No problem. Also Repco has 20% off on NGK iridium spark plugs so i'll go with them.
  12. Thread resurrection :P How many kms can the iridium spark plugs go for? I heard 100000km is no problem for them. Any link where i can get the iridium spark plugs? Did you buy Denso or NGK iridium spark plugs?
  13. If you were to go with 6+ pot brake calipers don't you have to mod the ECU to adjust the power of the brakes?
  14. Thanks DJKOR. I'll be doing the spark plugs myself. GOODBYE Toyota Service.
  15. I agree with you. Toyota service is crap just like any other car company service. If you check a previous thread about me ranting on their crap service i know how it feels. Just an update. The "new" battery they gave me is spewing acid from the terminals now. The area in the engine bay is now blue and white. Thanks Toyota for giving me a screwed up battery. All the filters i buy are sourced from usa. Better quality as well. The only time i'll bring my car to toyota services is for the major 90000km. Apparently you have to take out the engine to do one side of the spark plugs
  16. A step by step with lots of photos along the way is the best way to show a DIY tutorial.
  17. Thanks DJKOR that's was what i was thinking about. Do you think grip of GR90 and RE001 isn't much difference in dry? GR90 80-90% of RE001?
  18. I'm deciding on these 2 tyres but i'm not sure which one to get. Both are the same price. If anybody has experience with both these tyres how would you compared them. Thanks. GR-90: http://www.bridgestone.com.au/tyres/treads/GR90.aspx RE001: http://www.bridgestone.com.au/tyres/treads/Adrenalin.aspx
  19. I'll bring my 80 series landcruiser with bullbar along :spiteful: Someone should bring a bus or truck along as well :whistling:
  20. Past: building computers Present: Building computers Future: Chiropractor Future Future: Medical surgeon In 1 month i can give my car a back crack
  21. Damn that car was nice. Did you by any chance take the weathershields and floor mats off? Real MEN don't drive XR6T or G6ET. They drive F6 or GTE :spiteful:
