  1. Front brakes setup - calipers, mounting bracket. How much would you want for them? And what happened to the car? Was it yours?
  2. Front strut brace gives you 10kw Rear sway bar for handling.

Just want to double check. Is that 200-210km/h or 200-210km overdue for the service ?
  4. Completely and Utterly agreed! I have one so I should know Boring!!!!!!!
  5. Known problem is the rear valve cover gasket will leak. It is inevitable because of the way the engine is mounted. (Tipped backwards). Sludge build up is also another if it hasn't been looked after. These engines will go forever even without an oil change until it dies from sludging.
  6. Running 225/45/18 currently on my car. But I can't really tell you how it rides as I'm on coilovers. Personally speaking, if 235/40 18s fit, i'd go with those because it is way cheaper than 225s being more common and wont affect your speedo reading significantly. Which Kumho's you thinking of using? I have the KU36s and they are grippy.
  7. Has it been bedded properly? Has it been bled properly if they removed the the lines or replaced the fluids?
  8. This is the look I want but I'd go with the GTS options rear wing. Or a lower profile version of the wing above
  9. Are we really that slow stock?! I'd say gen4 but I could be biased somewhat hahaha. Only thing to look out for is their regular maintenence. They can run forever if looked after. However they are also prone to sludging up if oil changes are few and far in between.
  10. I have a feeling because your car is a gen 4 with the fluted glass lenses instead of the clears from factory. They spread differently especially after you swap them for the clear lenses.
  11. Wonder if you could fit a 3vz or 1mz in it.
  12. Ok from what I gathered you have moved the whole reflector and black housing from the new lights to the stock ones. That means that you have still replicated the problem with the lights spreading to the wrong side of the road. If I remember correctly I didn't need to cut that wire to take out the black housing as I had to remove it when I was modifying it for the projectors. Pretty sure you can unplug it and it'll come out.
  13. Be aware 225 tyres are expensive! How much work are you going to do with the fogs? As in are you going with the factory look or are you going custom? You can go custom projectors + HID's
  14. Kumho KU36. If you don't travel too many kms
  15. This thread is full of LOLs. Normally people take the badges off. As a matter of fact i have 2 that has just been removed. I'd sell them to you lol. I also have a short ram intake that i could sell you too. It'll make your car more powerful by your ear dyno. Price of LSD + shipping is 1200. Price of install + seals + axles + other stuff that is neede = 1600 Price of clutch + install 1200 Better tyres will give you a faster 0-100 time than the clutch. Learning not to bury the throttle and dump the clutch helps too. In a na it is actually very easy. I was able to launch the car with the supercharger and no lsd. Mind you the lsd and very sticky tyres makes it easier.
  16. I dont know why but I have this niggling suspicion that a $35k putt putt wouldn't have a $400k worth of chassis.
  17. You just need the expensive machines to use the OBD2 plug. These machines are the professional ones that the mechanics use and are worth $5-10k.
  18. It isn't a pearl paint, just plain deep gloss black. That was just a plain wash, no waxing or detailing after. Getting it a complete detail by a professional soon before I seal and wax the fresh coat. My clean sparkly look lasted 24hrs... Now there is GAZILLION specks of dust everywhere...
  19. With the LSD, you will need to change the speedo drive gear as well as the ring gear inside the gearbox as they are different between the MR2 and the Camry. This also means your speedo will be out by about 13% or so (it will read slower than what you are actually doing so you can get speeding tickets a lot easier). Another thing you will need to change is the axle stub/s as the Camry ones are different. If you are lucky the right side will slot in properly with the LSD, but you definitely will need to get the left one. Or if you go custom heavy duty shafts, you will be spending big. My first set costed $700 for the pair which the CVs broke after 1.5 year. Also after installing an LSD you will be chewing through more driveshafts/CV joints and what not because instead of letting the tyres take the brunt of the power and slipping, all the power/torque now is constantly being transferred to both shafts and joints. The SAFC gives you adjustments for 5 points in the rev range. Where as the E-manage blue will give you, if i remember correctly 64 points, 8 points at certain % of throttle if you tune with the laptop software. Or you could go for a stand alone system. With the pulley sizes, you won't be able to just change pulleys whenever you want because your tune is set for a specific amount of boost. So each time you change the pulley you will need to get a new tune. 7psi is risky. Both Andrew and I have killed the knock sensors just running 4psi as they are very sensitive. And one of mine died again when they were tuning it with the 5.5 psi pulley. So running more boost can and will kill them, just a matter of time.
  20. Gave the car a clean today for the first time and mmm
  21. That is true with the SAFC. I have one sitting in the cupboard atm. 5 points is not enough for the whole rev range.
