      No don't say that then they'll rush it and do a **** job. Go in and ask how progress is and when they plan to complete it... If the response is crap then tell them they said 2 weeks, so what's the go. :D

      Unlike most places I've been to, this painter is actually worth it. Knows his **** and will never rush a job to get it out.

      lol. yeah my panel beater wont let a car out until u can see 100% reflection on every angle on the car duco :D

    What I would suggest would be the best option is to convert the aurion into a 5sp (e153 gearbox). Install a Quaife LSD into it. Then Profit and Win. You would be surprised by how this combination can transform the handling from a big single pegging understeery land barge to a monster that can pull you out of corners at speed. But then no-one is actually going to do this so it's a moot point. RWD or FWD is not vital. Especially it is full time awd

      Yeah John it was a mate of mine and Anthony's in WA, it had 19's on it, 18's and low would have been fine.

      Even 17' but yeah its nice with the upgraded lights/lenses and no kit, great look from behind

      Mine are 17's and they look a tad small, probably due to the fact they have a dish. My sig pic was photoshopped with a bigger size of the same wheel.

    I'd take the door trims off and see if there is anything hindering the locking system.

    Weight reduction. Took out most of the custom boot install of the stereo, all the door trims. I reckon I saved about 50kg. If I can be bothered taking the sub box out that would be another 10kg right there too.

    no they didn't pick it up, I'm trying to get hold of a replacement as I guess 3 calipers/discs aren't going to be much use to anyone Hey mate, if you only have the 3 then that is fine. I can try and source one when I have the time to actually put them into use.

    It is normal to hold gears until 4k when cold. This only last like a few minutes though. You will find that if you go fast enough, it will hold itself in 3rd and not let you into 4th too when cold. The other thing it does when cold is even if you floor it, it will shift waaaay before redline.

    Car definitely needs a tune again. It's running rich - 10.3ish afr up top. Hence the feeling of it being down on power :(

    Car managed to go 715km of combined city/highway using only 77.5L of petrol! 10.8L/100km!! 170kw atw of full blown fuel efficiency ftw!

    Did they pick up the caliper from the otherside after the accident and throw it in the car? I'm still up for the rears and maybe the single front side as well

    If the front and rear brakes are still ok, SHOTGUN! PS Awesome someone actually taking that first step :)

    Trent and I (mostly Trent) installed a wideband. And the car was given the tick of approval from Trent in regards to the transformed handling!!! Now we can mash the pedal mid corner and not need to worry about understeer.
