  3. Power steering fluid, gearbox oil/transmission fluid, fuel filter... thats all i can think of now...its not hard to do evrything else, just be careful with bleeding the breaks and getting all the air out of them, dont just change the break fluid get better stuff (you wouldnt really need to change it, upgrade if your keen), and dont skimp on the pads either. Where r u located? Fidz
  4. Ebay from perth, they have some, they look like D2's (DONT EVER THINK ABOUT GETTING D2's) i installed my own, not too hard but you need to know what your doing and have the proper tools...go pro... HERE......http://cgi.ebay.com.au/COILOVERS-Corolla-ZZE120-ZZE121-ZZE122-NZE120-NZE121-/110622174071?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19c1986b77
  5. Dude replace your break pads, they probly didnt even check the pads, i do all my own servicing, dont trust those gaylords...pad, change will either fix the problem or remove the rock/debris, but because its when ur breaking itll be ur pads...easy job... Fidz.
  6. Found the A-pillar guage holder thingy....not colour matched very well, its for an 05 corolla.... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2005-Toyota-Corolla-Gauge-Pod-pillar-/260717224034?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cb3f52062 No need to thank me... lol

  9. These are a couple of shots i took today after giving her a REALLY thorough clean!! Third image defeats the purpose of the censoring...
  10. There was a bloke on ebay who did a diy job on one and it looked good....it was fibreglass, wouldnt be hard to knock one up if you have the time, helluva lot cheaper too. But i have not heard of any others, sorry...:(
  11. Hey dudes just bought a cruiser, keen to do some 4x4'n in the blue mountains. Would like some mod/diy ideas for the beast. It's already got dual fuel, hd springs, 1" lift, airbags, rear spare tire holder, and 2 spotties. Was keen on a ap50 cruise control and arb compressor. Anybody got some advice..??? Cheers guys...:)
  12. My man, I did a reco of my corolla not long ago, if your 4x4 has abs then turn the acc on and check the connections from each sensors in the wheel arches, get a multimeter and check for 12-18 volts dc on one of the tangs in the plugs. Or turn the car off and check the resistance of each wire to earth, if both are 0 ohms than theres your problem but make sure of your measurements. If there's no abs then check the mechanical linkage from your gearbox to your dash. It would most likely be the mechanical elements before it's the electrical...hope this helped any.
  13. Hey guys i got my rolla back just before xmas and im up in newcastle if anyone wants to have a meet? Ill be up untill the 15th of jan, also doing some mods while im home...the old man has lots of handy tools...:P Or i could just wait for the onw in jan...hopefully it will be a late one...HINT HINT lol

  15. Hey dudes i got my car back from contageous colour in penrith! Did a good job I reckon!! FRONT: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?app=gallery&module=images&section=viewimage&img=3495 REAR: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?app=gallery&module=images&section=viewimage&img=3496 HEADLIGHTS: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?app=gallery&module=images&section=viewimage&img=3497 Did the headlight surrounds with the thread: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=24980 Now after leather rear seats, 2x12' subs and a rear lip!!! Getting rims put on tomoro!!!! SOOOOO excited!!!! >_<
  16. Branno, if you can get it out...it isn't really that hard, you can drop some desiccant in it, the stuff you get in shoe boxes that says "do not eat" that will hopefully absorb any moisture left in the light after you drain most of it out. I used it when i did the "paint you headlight surrounds black" mod coz everyone was complaining about having condensation left in their headlights. It works a treat... Stay cool dude. Fidzze
  17. Have you tried 'OBD' or OBD 2 or diagnostic tool? BTW what IS wrong with your car? Have a look at these: http://shop.ebay.com.au/i.html?_nkw=OBD+2+toyota&_sacat=0&_odkw=OBD+2&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
  18. My mate bought one for his commonwhore, and the sportivo does have a OBD-II plug, but the one he bought off ebay didnt have the right software and couldnt communicate with the car....my advice would be if you are buying one off ebay, be aware that some WILL NOT WORK! Look in this forum and other aus toyota forums too see if anyone else has one that you could "borrow", if all else fails befriend a mechanic with some beers and get a freebie?!?
  19. Hey that would make sence...ive got the rear drum mechanism in my garage and the front brakes+suspension as well but no car to compare and have a geeze...so i was probly just trippin...but if anyone needs/wants to change their older corollas they know where to go to get the guide...LOL!!! :P
  20. Had a quick google and i found this http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/showthread.php?t=148 But its not for a 03 sedan, i cant for the life of me remember if the 03 sportivos had rear disc breaks...if they did then i have all necessary parts and could do a DIY guide...
