You have one car that comes with a state of the art 6 speed trans (same as lexus use) and another with a prehistoric 4 speed trans. You have one car which has had 0 recalls (to my knowledge?) and another car which has had 2 in 6months. You have one which comes with the basic features you need such as A/C and you have another which dooesnt. You have one manufacterer who is widely known as being reliable and another which is know for the exact opposite reasons. You have a manufacter who knows they have a good product and lets consumers decide and you have another who has to use a rigorous marketing campaign with crappy unjustified quotes and a 'making of' series to convince people they have finally built a car worth something. etc It wouldnt take Einstein to work out which car is which in the above and which is the better car ;) blah blah blah u win geez get over it now

The VL Skyline's were simple and impressive (I just can't call them commodores sorry lol). The only issue I ever found with them was the poor body work and weak points, even then I was picky (wasn't an issue with yours Steve?). Steve, you don't wish you had the VL back. Total crap. You're looking forward to a certain Mitsubishi, 'the' Mitusbishi I might add Hey d_ice, the only way to truely claim you're faster is to do it on the track. 1 It's safer to start with 2 Unveils every part of the car, accelerating, turning, braking etc etc (I'm more of an all round man who likes everything...I guess take it to the drag strip if you're only interested in straight line acceleration). 3 There are no limits, only the personal limits that you set yourself ;)

I think I just found something heaps better than any of the contenders previously mentioned. Very low running costs, and some models even run off a 2 stroke Briggs and Stratton motor. As if it isn't dead sexy as well. I could picture having a bit of a pound in the back with the seats down.
