  1. "A 22-year-old Burswood man who was allegedly racing against him was also spoken to yesterday and will also be charged with reckless driving by summons. His Land Roverhas been seized under the State’s anti-hoon laws." rofl mao What a noob. Glad no one was killed.
  2. :giggle: Bought two brand new nuts today. To be honest they look better than the stock ones. No flange, but meh (flange...lul).
  3. I can't see it because I'm at work. Is this the black RX7? If so I think there was an issue with the nuts used on it by the tuning shop the guy went to.
  4. Lol cheers guys. I'm going to have to take it in to Capital now anyway man :\ The endlink boot is goneski's. Have to replace it. Plus it needs a wheel alignment etc. Unless of course you can do all of this and I buy you $100 worth of beer? lol

    MSN?

I've noticed that goodboyz (Johnny's) msn account has been hacked. Weird messages from him, then he logs off again.
  6. Well at the moment I'm listening to what is shaping to be The Penguin Scalar's first song. Woot. Writing electronica ftw.

    'Gawd'? Meh, that works.
  8. I'm buying a new nut today. I want to believe that my old man tightened everything back up, but I'm having doubts. The suspension place said that it must have been loose. I trust my dad thought that's the thing. He's been meticulous his entire life. Fair enough everyone makes mistakes, but it's just not like him. Anyway, the actual ride height was only changed by 5mm literally. I think due to only one side being raised and adjusted, the sway was loaded up heavily on the left side. I'll be jacking it up this afternoon and rechecking both sides, letting the sway bar hang freely and going from there. Additionally, I was told that the swaybar link should be left where it is (as I only moved it marginally to compensate for the ride height change), as sway bars are always required to have some load on them? That's where I stand at the moment though. Any feedback is hereby classified as 'awesome' by Nelson.

  12. Believe it or not, the stiffness is actually saving you in some ways. You sure as hell wouldn't want spring sag in a lowered car.
  13. Silverbullit just outlined that the sway link section on the coilovers is adjustable for a reason, and that I am indeed a noob. kkthx
  14. Well you just get 50mm king super lows or 65mm lovells super lows (which are rather low) to go with the new shocks? Coilovers replace the entire suspension housing and setup on the car. You're essentially riding around on 4 poles that can be adjusted via ride height, damper, camber etc. You'd be looking at $1400 odd for D2's or G4's, $1900 odd for something more finished like Cusco.
  15. i thought you were just paranoid all the time.... Well from happened today you can see why
  16. The one marked in yellow (the top one, that bolts into the strut housing) cheers bren
  17. Coilovers. To be honest though, if you hate bumps, you'll hate them even more. I like my ride stiff and firm. That's just me. To anyone else coilovers are considered overkill for them.
  18. Evening, The front swaybar spat out the nut today. It was tightened up etc etc. Is the positioning of the swar bar link section on the coilover the cause of this? Just after some opinions. The thread on the bolt still seems to be fine.
  19. You're all worse than Nelson. Talk about a mass hijack.
