  1. I thought only the SL came with the JBL package - I enquired on getting a JBL upgrade for my S but no go. Ah yeah you're right. That sucks, oh well. Upgrading should be very easy, basically just take the door trims out, replace speakers, put it all back together, and its the same deal with the rear speakers, but I think you might have to take the seats out. It's just the tweeters that might be a bit tricky. I got my amp for sale if you're interested, still Brand new, got it for half the RRP and selling for the same price I got it for :) I was going to upgrade mine, but getting too lazy now so just changed my deck - maybe next year lol
  2. Haha great and funny song for all you Sydney/NSW people - sums up Bankstown area in one go I guess. Credit goes to 1BUCK80 :)
  3. Doesn't some of the new SX come with JBLs? I have always been a Pioneer and Sony lover because of their quality. While you're doing it - maybe get an AMP and hook it up :) I would be careful though with the warranty because you have to open all these areas, but as long as you can keep it looking the same as it was before and they won't know then I don't see why not :) This link should help you a lot with replacing the actual speakers.
  4. Yeah mate that's the one The people are cool here so all good, as long as we don't cause trouble etc.
  5. Yeah interface is mad, easy to use and good with iPhone too :)
  6. Niceee I got the same unit without the GPS option as I didn't really need it :) Does yours play dvds?
  7. 1) Crypt 2) rentaspace 3) FiveSe7en (8:30 ish though if people are still there?)
  8. Yeah, i like the look way better.. and the missus too! thats always a bonus lol.. where is the meet going to be?, and how do you know when meets are on?, sorry if that's a silly question lol! Yeah it is always a plus when the missus likes it ;) It's at Greenacre Maccas, there is a map on page 1 here: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/34174-sydney-monthly-meet31813-greenacre-maccas/page-84 The thread is updated every month of new meet ups :)
  9. I agree with you mate, definetely makes the car sexier vs having 2 cannons or even 2 mufflers there really. Going to be at the meet this month :D?
  10. Sexy car - I wonder where I've seen it before ;)
  11. This is where all the fun begins mate, you have 2 options. A. You see the back connector ends? You can actually take those off, which means you can fit it through the base/holder. B. You can cut the rubber piece holding the 4 wires together, and just slot bulb wires through without pulling the connectors off. But what you will need to do is trim each side of the connectors for it to fit through the base. From there, you will have some trouble trying to put the clip back in, but I'm 100% sure everyone with H7 HID bulbs had this problem, as the normal bulb's base is really thin, and the HID ones aren't. Can you also show me the connector heads that are meant to go into the black base from the HID kit that you got? They should look something like the below ones. With the 2 pins at the end.
  12. Yeah - all you have to do is unclip it on both sides and off it goes :) You maybe have some trouble because the bulb is in there, but nothing some strength can't solve
  13. Shouldn't it be Saturday the 31st of August? Unless this month it's on a Friday the 30th :)
  14. All makes sense - basically from the pictures you uploaded, its the same installation for the hybrid as it is for all the other GEN7 (2012-13) camry's - just wanted to make sure its all the same, don't want to be giving you the wrong advise :) The clips do not need to be secured to the bottom as shown in the pictures (but your bulb will still be secure). You will need to put the new HID bulb into the same position as the old bulb was and run the two wires through the clip so that they're not in the way when you twist the bulb back in. From there once you twist the bulb back in, connect the two bulb wires to the ballast, and the ballast to the black base in the picture (which you unclipped previously from the base) - test the HID, if it doesn't work, simply just swap the wires around but make sure you turn you headlights OFF first! I have the exact same bulb, base and clips in my 2007 Camry :)
  15. Haha costed me an arm and a leg - let's say I'm never doing that again lol Car mate is an Australian import company - you can find a few things on their site too
  16. I have imported my rear body kit from Australia with no problems - it was a genuine part with dual exhaust. Customs aren't too complicated with this sort of stuff when importing. http://www.andysautosport.com/toyota/2007_2011_camry/exterior/body_kits/ has a few different brands that supply different body kits.
  17. Hey Mate, Do you have a picture of your hybrid headlights and maybe the picture of what you're talking about? What size bulb is it? I have installed HIDs on 2012/2013 camry's before and have had no issues, but then again they weren't hybrids so not sure if it is different. Cheers
  18. Ask Defyant, Facebook.com/defyantmods - he's pro at doing angel eyes on Aurions :) For the doors I'll show you some pics tonight when I get home - they're a walk in the park mate. As k_lee said it's just popping them out with a flat head
  19. Hmmm just becareful with the quality though - I know people in the states who've had their coilovers break after a year or two when they got the cheaper ones. Also my mate in SA used to have air suspension, he got it removed recently from his Aurion - it was taking up too much boot space :)
  20. haha you'll win, mines loud at cold start up then quiet at idle, but awesome under load I'm keen to hear to hear the roar when it comes under load! Can't give up right now - there's only one way to find out ;)
  21. Oh well - I'm sure you will show up next month for the meet up :D Come earlier mate - we can do an exhaust face off ;)
  22. Nice - how you finding it compared to stock? Also, exhaust video :D
