    Have you considered what the engine bay of a LHD Corolla looks like? It's not exactly reversed. Yeah, I know it's not just a reverse of ours. If it were that simple everything would just be the other way around lol. Just wanted to see what others have done in order to mount there's so it doesn't move around the front bumper where the foglights are.

    Hey guys. Just prepping for the arrival of the CAI and was wondering what you have done in terms of the mounting of the pipe at the bottom where the pod filter sits (seeing as the Injen was design for LHD Corollas, making the mounting bracket useless for our RHD Corollas)? Has anyone made a custom mounting bracket and if so, what are the dimensions and how much would it cost to have it made? Or are there any other alternatives of making sure that the pipe doesn't move around? Cheers

    omfg.. finally after setting up a trace investigation, my Injen CAI package has finally left customs after a week and half!.. here's to hoping for a Monday/Tuesday delivery. Was about to go mental!

    My little bro just whipped up a quick photochop for me. Looks pretty shmick but woulda been better if the reflections of the trees weren't on the front windscreen/bonnet and the lighting wasn't so terribad! lol. Oh well, not a bad job for a 1st year graphics and media student.

    No no no to the blue ring. Toooooooo tacky. All black or maybe chrome trim. Too tacky? Why's that? lol Guess I'll see how they look up against the car when I do go shoe huntin. Probably will stick with the black with chrome lip though. Or might look at how gunmetal looks on the car. Hey Huey Nothing tacky about that. Excellent choice of wheels. Zorst note sounds great too. thanks mate. yeah, I fell in love with the gunmetal when i saw them up against my car.

    sh!t man, that totally sucks to hear about your muffler. 1k on a axleback TRD muffler and it ends up rusting? I'd be p!ssed. Good luck on the exhaust upgrade!

      lol to each their own. I named my previous car (champagne coloured RAV4) Cristal. I named my current car, black ZRE Leila.. it's of an Arabic origin meaning "night beauty" or "dark beauty".

    oooo finally another black facelift! Was it easy getting your CAI installed? I'm still waiting for my CAI to arrive and was hoping for an easy install. Oh and did your intake come with that Injen decal? or did you buy it elsewhere? :) Welcome to the club btw.

    Yes it does come in the black (209) and white (070) It does? that's odd - looking at the TRD site it says that there's only 3 available for the facelift ( 09.10 - ): White pearl crystal shine (070) MS341-12028-A1 146,000 Black Mica (279) MS341-12028-C0 146,000 Non painted (Surfacer finish) MS341-12029-00 141,000 They listed that Metallic Black (209) is only available for pre-facelift front lip. Unless this is out-of-date.

    Thanks cuong. Sucks that the facelift front lip doesn't come metallic black mica (Toyota colour code 209). Only comes in black mica (279) which I assume is not metallic at all and won't go that well with my front bumper. Might have to opt for the unpainted one. How would I go about ordering one anyways?

    FK!!!! What else can go wrong today. Falling behind at work because I'm sick. My Injen CAI gets lost by USPS/Aus Post on its way to me. And now just slightly scraped the right underside of my front bumper!!! FKKKK. *Rage quit*

      I guarantee you CAI will arrive mid late next week... If you scraped your front bumper already, better not get the TRD lip, you'll rip it off!! :D

      :( Is it exxy to fix the front bumper scrapage? It's not major. But is noticeable when you kneel down and feel the underside of the front bumper.

      oh and the reason it scraped was because I misjudged the curb when I was parking. So if I have the TRD front lip I'll be even ore cautious. Just got to figure out how to order one now..

    Just a few corrections to your translation buddy.. and adding another one: Chassis Performance Line 144,900 yen Edit: figured out now that the Aero Performance Line consists of the Rear Roof Spoiler and Rear Diffuser (@ 102,900 yen for the set) and the Chasis Performance Line consists of the Performance Spring Set, Performance Shock Absorber Set and the Member Brace Set (@144,000 yen for the set.. however they have also listed the individual item prices as well.

      I have. they said that it's most likely that the package never even left the states because the last scan indicates it was going to customs in the states but for some reason has not made it out??? I told the seller and he has filed an investigation to try and trace where it is.. at this rate, I'm never going to get my damn package. He said he won't send me another one until it's clear as to what is going on with this package (whether it's lost or is being held somewhere). ...

    Damn it's been 4 months now and I still haven't been able to name my girl yet... I'm sticking with my "dark" / "black" theme and after I did the exhaust, the car really purrs and growls now so was thinking of terms of cat like names or names that have a dark meaning behind them... current name's I'm thinking of are: OnyxPantherMelanie (French derived from the Latin name "Melania", meaning black/dark)PumaAce (not really a chic's name though)CocoLayla / Leila (means "Dark Beauty" in arabic) I'm leaning towards Layla (or another variation of the name) at the moment.. but thinking about Melanie and Onyx too. ARGH.. hate naming things.. Edit: Named!!
