  9. what u mean extra parts? i thought it comes with everything except the tools to tighten it up there is nothing else its just the bar itself and you use the stock bolts that are holding your current one in place.
  10. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...?showtopic=6483 sorry mate
  11. they look the same just the 2nd link dosent have the top mounts for either the front or the back, but this is not really an issue cause you should be able to use the stock ones. :)
  12. i had 6500K HID's on my 1zz, the kit that i had came with a rubber bung so i drilled the same size hole in the backing place on the headlights and just pushed it in and it worked like a charm think they were KDG's
  13. the chu chu sound is the VSV valve , it sounds louder with the CES CAI because its a larger pipe you get the same with with the other CAI's from what i have seen. car was a pre face lift with bout 60,000km on the clock from memory and the car had a CES catback system on it as well.
  14. it seems to be an issue with the MAF sensor on some cars, as the same intakes on 5 cars there was only one car that had an issue he went back to CES and had the pipe around the MAF flanged down to 2.8" and all the probs went away..... so far its been the only car that has needed this to be done so its hard to say why its happening.
  15. you are not the first one to have these issues, the first 5 or so cars with the CES CAI had no issues at all, there has beeen one other that i know of appart from you that has had these issues but its since been sorted.
  16. do you have any good pics of the buddyclub spec III muffler ?? would be interesting to compare what they use to what CES came up with...
  17. who ever does the fitting will prolly just flare out the exhaust piping to suit the muffler its really not a big deal happens all the time.
  18. so far we are yet to see a catback system for the sportivo that is better then the CES and plenty of people will agree. :)
  19. mate i would suggest that you take this up with him via PM as i know he has been away on holidays.
  20. well at this stage looks like the loop is the go....
  21. have a look in the manual, pretty sure its coolant temp, we have a coolant cooled oil cooler to so i would imagine that in cooler weather it would warm the oil up when its really cold too...
  22. yep water temp of 60c = lift, tested this out with the PFC.
