  1. its a good selling point for all the noob wannabe drifters out there.
  2. im also pretty sure that there is no rear adjustment on the rolla too
  3. wouldn't a lower offset be better? thats how i understodd it lower offset would mean the outside edge of the rim is closer to the middle if the car....i would not going any lower then +43 cause then you will have scrubbing issues on the inside of the guards on the front in particular. just be carefull cause the lower the offset the closer the spokes will be to the brake calipers so it depends on the rims.
  4. bit more notice would have been nice donna...what other cars are going?
  5. spot on the money, we found that 2.5" is the best size intake pipe for a 1zz-fe.
  6. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...?showtopic=6693 CES are on the south side of brisbane bout 35-40mins from say robina/reedy creek.
  7. with the mentioned wheels and offset i dont think you are gonna need spacers mate, as spacers are going to push the wheel further out towards the guard and thats not really what you want if its lowered.
  8. took one of these for a test drive last night, was very impressed with the out of the box performance/handling. Car was fun to drive and i found it quite easy to drive fast, even going up/down the mountain. The trackion controll/DSC worked like a charm and i had it going the whole way up down and it didn't faulter. Even when i turned the DCS off the car was still very stable even when i tried to unsettle it. My biggest gripe with the car is that you cant turn off all the computer gizmo's and IMO it takes away some of the fun. I launched a hard 1>2 and couldn't get the thing even to chirp and it was alittle dissatisfying. Road noise was good, it was alot better then the rolla, seats were quite nice too, the one i took had the leather pack but you still get fabric inserts in the seats and doors and for the price that was bit of a letdown, the car has alot of potential, the exhaust is alot like an S13 (i think) as it has a set of 90 degree bends in it to cut the noise/performance down i would imagine, with a good exhaust this could easily be rectified. spend about 6-7K on one of these (exhaust, coilovers and few other things) and you would have yourself a very nice little hatch and it would be pretty dam quick too.
