how is this going to work when the stock headunit has no aux/cd changer inputs.....

just need one to have a look at....anybody.....

when you DIY'd the shifter did you just cut a bit off the top or what? cause if you did this it will make the car harder to change gears as you have significantly less leverage, where as if you do what rollamods is talking about by moving the pivot point on the shaft you will get a "true" short shifter, just clearing this up for some of the newbies. :)

oil will stop the dirt better too and it takes all of 5mins to clean your maf so deff do it

its a new car so its not going to make as much power as a run in one its also going to use more fuel/oil etc till everything settels down, nothing needed for the service either.

im going to say that buy the look of the car ie everything still being in there including the 2zz that brian is just trying to stir the pot hehe.

Sure have your fun (as the NSW guys know I still set a nice pace on the cruises) but remember what may be around that corner... the great thing about the race track is it doesn't cost much to head out there, and around the corner is nothing but more racetrack... But love your car for what it is, and cherish the life you have because you only have 1!!!

if you actually read my post you would see that i said nothing about needing a power FC to beat it, all i said is that you wont be able to hit lift in neutral at a set of lights unless you have a power FC :P

im in the same boat its great stuff.

mate give me one at a set of lights, id still go them, we are comparing a 30K car to a 50K car, a stivo with 20K of performance mods would kill one tho :P

its times like this that you need a power FC, slip it into neutral and drop her into lift......:D

clutch is the same as the 1zz to im pretty sure.

the engines are the same, the only diff is the throttle assembly, on the celica is come straigh out from the intake manifold where the corolla is on a 45deg bend.
