If you rolled your super dooper ascent vs a stock stivo from 100-180 what would win in your honest opinion? Mid 14's - Hmmm? How? ← sportivo easy, when the sportivo hits 4th gear it walks away, up untill then its anyones race mid 14's you will just have to wait and see

i have not been to the strip in my sportivo i have few of the more serious mods happening next week, i will be out at the strip the week after ill be expecting mid 14's

Gumball you are a ******, its simple as that, there is even video footage of the run so i think its time you stop talking about things you know nothing about, also your STOCK sportivo is NOTHING special either so if you want to start nit picking about peoples cars then i will be happy to give you a run in the 1zz-fe dont be too disapointed when you have to go home after being wasted by a "shopping trolley" PS sorry for this tread turning sour, but its clear that some people just have on idea about whats going on.

the sportivo springs will actually raise the accent, if you want to go lower then stock set of low king springs this will drop it by 30-35mm, NRMA allow 30mm so the low kings should do the trick

when i had a 1zz with CAI, flywheel and exhaust (was rear muffler changed only) i pulled 94kw atw so add an emanage and that would make 100kw atw without too many issues, stock sportivos pull bout 105-110, you ask some of the brisbane guys how quick a 1zz is with 94kw atw you will be surprised....

People buy what's within their own means and within their own preference. ← Fair enough, if the ascent is all someone can afford so be it. But the levin ffs is near the same price as the stivo and if your an enthusiast and prefer manuals its the way to go. If someone is thinking of doing mods and they can afford 27 on the road get the stivo. If you want an auto levin thats all good too but in that case your buying a shopping cart. No offense meant but I really dont see any point in buying a levin and spending $5000 on mods and its still not even close to a standard stivo in performance. ← $5000, will get you dam close mate is not the same.

if we are talking about the ones from meridian, they come with a base tune (this is nor the stock tune) so its better, but its not tuned to suit your car...

what are you smoking? i am yet to see a car that has got no gains from the CAI, most cases are in the area of 5kw atw..

you new lights will have the face lift socket on them, you need a face lift plug, ie the end part of the loom of a face lift. When i changed my tail lights from my face life 1zz to my non face lift 2zz i just cut the plugs off and swaped them over, when i did this i found that all of the wires were the same colour on both cars so it was just a case of matching the colours. hope this helps

i used to own a face lift ascent sports and if I had my time again i would do CAI Konis/springs exhaust clutch/flywheel

i shall be out and about, looks like i may have some tag alongs as well :P PS i still have some of the TRD/RECARO stuff that i got OS and i will have it with me tonight
