  1. Interested in purchasing a 2zzge supercharger based in Sydney NSW. Anyone looking to sell?
  2. the valve that goes to throttle is the breather, the one that runs to plenum is pcv. ud connect ur catch between pcv and plenum
  3. sd were you able to pull your engine head without removing ur engine from bay?
  4. buy a camcon for $250 to tune your cams, find somene with a Wideband and pay them $100 to tune your a/f, alternatively, buy a plx wideband off ebay for $220? fabricate an exhaust mount and run that. u will feel a pickup esp mid range.
  5. The best way would be to just shove in a lint free cloth on a coat hanger and mop up the excess oil, and then run a catch can from ur PCV to ur intake manifold. Learned from an bad experience. I had to suck out 600ml of water out of the intake manifold after a flash flood in western sydney in april. was driving through a puddle and my car died. didnt turn it back on as I was hoping that my MAF had detected water. I looked into the manifold and it was swimming... I just took off my intake pipe, and shoved in a cloth on a coat hanger and had to mop and wring the water out of my intake manifold for about 20minutes. got about 600ml out of it, then just took out my spark plugs and disconnected my fuel line and cranked my engine for 5 seconds until the water mist was blown out of the cylinders. Drove the car for 30minutes and then changed my oil. Was good after. I hear porting and polishing the intake manifold is good for a few hp gains but maybe also consider porting the throttle while your at it, put in one of those cosworth thermal gaskets to keep your plenum temps down.
  6. Hey, I'll take the throttle body for 70$ and the plenum for 80$. Pm to let me know if u can do for that price
  7. Mate I have a set of stocks sitting in the garage, if you want to swap out your springs for the stocks, I'll take your rear super low's springs only and you can keep your front super lows. Pm me if your interested. Im based in sydney
  8. Lift123, Depends on your budget, i was modding plenty and you can get your parts from monkeywrenchracing.com u can find intakes on the website but just make sure u keep your orders below 1K otherwise u will get hit with like import taxes I have intake, headers, high flow cat - 2'5" exhaust I also have stage 2 cams + greddy emanage ultimate so i dont blow my engine Got aTRD thermostat to lower the running temp. Hard to get the powerfc for a good price nowadays and I dont feel like forking out over 1k. If i manage to find one for a good price I would snap it up though. I recently had a problem with the cams because the car wouldnt rev past 7.2k rpm, I found out that it was a faulty oil pressure sensor next to the VVL solenoid replaced that and now it works a treat. I bought the parts for a full head rebuild with 9.5krpm springs and flat face valves to increase compression from monkey wrench racing. however havent bothered to put them in yet. Depends on what your budget is really though. also a good website is:- http://2zzge.com/library/Corolla%202ZZGE/ that will give u the knowhow to do all works on your car/maintenace where abouts you based?
  9. Pm me if you have springs + shocks still for sale? what brand?
  10. It sounds like a spitting sound instead of a BAAAAAAA. Im just curious as to whether it is or isnt engaging lift anymore, like does it mean that the pin isnt engaging the secondary lift rocker and somehow is it just running the primary rocker through to 8200... I'll have to record it or something... otherwise it doesnt make sense haha
  11. Thanks for the comment. Haven't had it tuned yet but your right I will need a tune but I will need to get a PFC for that. My question is basically, if the engine revs to 8200 rpm does it mean that lift has engaged? As in is it possible for the stock rocker to rev to 8200 rpm or it can only rev to 8200 as a result of the lift cam activation? Cuz thats what im wondering...
  12. Hey guys, I recently had stage 2 cams installed on my 2zzge motor. Problem is , it feels like the the Lift crossover doesnt occur. Here's what happened. After the installation, I found out that my engine did not engage in lift but cut out at 7200rpm. After reading many guides online about it I found out it was something to do with the Oil Control Valve for the lift. So I popped up the bonnet and found out one of the plugs for the OCV was not plugged in all the way. As a result, the car could rev all the way to 8200rpm. My question is, is it possible for the non lift rockers to rev all the way to 8200 rpm without engaging lift or is the fact that the engine can rev to 8200 a sign that the lift is working? Also im abit worried whether the VVT has not been installed properly when the cams were installed. Please share your thoughts...
  13. Superdave, Are you making any more of these conversion harness's?
