  2. Australia Day 28th January 2013 at Winton in Benalla. This will be held by Tampered Motosports. What will be required: - AASA/CAMS racing license (AASA can be bought on the day for $50 and lasts 1 year) - long sleeve shirt, long pants, and closed shoes. Nylon is not allowed. - ADR or DOT approved helmet (closed or half face) - Secure and safe seat belt - Firm brake pedal - No oil/fuel leaks - Secure battery What to bring: - Tools - Engine Oil - Wheel chocks (dont use your handbrake once you've pulled off the track!) - Tyre pressure gauge - Fire extinguisher Passengers wanting to ride on the track will have to pay a fee of $20 and must also have an approved helmet, closed shoes, long sleeves and long pants. General rules (we will run through these again on the day): - Please limit yourselves to crawling speed through the pit paddock, leave it for the track! - No reckless overtaking, divebombing, bumping or tapping. Be respectful of other drivers and cars! - If there is a faster car behind you, hop off the racing line and put your hazards on and let them past... check your mirrors on every straight! - If someone doesn't let you pass, flash your lights to warn them that you are there. If they still dont, pull back, have a cool down lap and push from there. - No drifting or skids on a circuit day. You will be black flagged and taken off the circuit by the officials. - Tampered doesn't have a cool down lap, so when the red light flashes, get off the track ASAP. What to do once we get there: - Get your paperwork done as early as possible to avoid a massive line! This is done at the dutton direct building. - Once the paperwork is done, put your lap timer on and prepare your car. Then line up for scrutineering which is also done in the dutton direct building. - Before your session listen for 'Group B' on the loudspeaker for pre-grouping which is located to the left of the dutton direct building. - Track entry is located out of the pre grouping car park - Track exit is located to the left just before the S-bend We are in GROUP B and our first session is at 9:15AM -- Please have paperwork and scrutineering done before then so you dont miss the first session! 1 - Andy - White Corolla Sedan 2 - Duy - Green Corolla Sportivo 3 - James - Nissan Skyline V35 4 - Tim - Honda Civic EP3R 5 - Dennis - S2000 6 - Justin - Red Corolla Lunch Box 7 - Jeff - Camry 8 - Johnson - Black Corolla ZRE 9 - Tony - Civic FD2 10 - Phil - Civic EG 11 - Chris - Red Corolla Sportvo 12 - Miki - Suzuki Swift 13 - Andrew - Lexus GS 300 Pre Meet Details: 4.30AM at Caltex on Mcintyre Rd/Sunshine Ave. We will be leaving 4.45AM SHARP!! 10. Today I fitted the Whiteline rear sway bar, and man what a difference it makes! car handles really well now even with it being a touch too low and with rubbish tyres on. best mod, really happy with it and recommend it for any FWD car :D All was great until i was finishing up my test drive and blew my head gasket again on the way back.... ripped the head off it and here is the damage: It holds a new record: its been on the road for about 7 weeks which beats last time :P haha
  11. Put the new sway bar in. Drove the car for a bit handled like awesome sauce and then the engine popped. New record: 7 weeks.

  15. First of many from the TCCAV meet yesterday :)
  16. If you can use your left foot to brake through there you can carry alot more speed and have better balance as you keep the front pulling you around the corner but the brakes stop you from gaining any speed, hence eliminating understeer or oversteer. It works for me :) but with that said, my mate has an RX7, formula Vee and a Westfield and he says in all 3 of those cars its a completely different corner. Its a tricky one thats for sure! Good job on all this data gathering! :)
  17. Thinking about a project car.....
