I FINALLY bought some rims :D I got these... in 16x7.0 they weigh about 5kgs :) :) :) check my garage for pics on the car + lowered :D will get some better ones soon, it was dark when I got home...

as far as I know the only thing that is illegal about them is watching TV while driving (in the front at least, and you cannot argue that the passanger was watching as it is still a distraction) -
last I knew ther were plans afoot to have this as a Celica replacement, but would be at least 18 months away as at the moment they are only made in the US and left hand drive... :(

it represents a cross-section of the rim. Using the little lines is the only way to provide a leader so the vertical lines stay in place. The forum does not allow a space leader and defults to 1 space and then they all look the same so the pictures would serve no purpose... But look at Shao's post, has all the info there... Cheers for that Shao, you always come through with the goods :D :D :D but yeah... can Shao's post be copyed into a new post and stickied into the Wheel and Tyre section...

another important thing is PCD this is the diameter spacing of the lug nuts eg 4x100 or 5x114.3 etc these are measured by assuming a circle which incorporates all the lug bolts and measuring the diameter of this circle (again in mm). The first number comes from how may lug bolts there are (4,5 or 6 for cars and 4x4s).

offset, put quite simply, is the distace that the hub of the wheel is positioned from the centre of the wheel width. I'll try a little text diagram to explain... :P the number (eg +40) means how far the distance is measured in mm Wheel #1: 0 offset hub side | open side /=====\ -----|----- -----|----- -----|----- -----|----- \=====/ Wheel #2: +ve offset /=====\ -------|--- -------|--- -------|--- -------|--- \=====/ Wheel #3: -ve offset /=====\ ---|------- ---|------- ---|------ ---|------- \=====/ For corollas you want ~+40

Let's wait to see what Dylan gets with his CES in the coming weeks.. but i guess his dyno showed some gains with a CAI. ;) ← you'll be waiting until next dyno day, I've got other things to spend my money on... and need to wait for the Exhaust to carbon up...

it was ~$75 for me so I dare say ~$85 for non Toymods members. Just leave it til the next Dyno day I say!!! I just wanted it done before the Exhaust goes on.

mine went 15.2 with just one decent timed run and there was still more in it... with only CAI like was said, just take it out there once, and you may suprise yourself!!! I know I was, I was expecting 15.4-15.5...

I said I'd get it done ASAP and here it is... it says 3rd gear but if you look at the speed on the bottom scale you will realise that it was an operator input error... it was 4th gear!!! This is for the AEM CAI... the stock run was 115.0 kW
