  1. With control springs, the front is approximately 33cm and the back is approximately 34-35cm from centre of the wheel to the fender... it's not an obvious drop, but with a sportivo bodykit, it's certainly low enough to have to worry about gutters... ← I think you mean 33mm
  2. looks like a wider diameter version of the Simota one to me. Completely different bend shape to the AEM and Injen which are the 2 most similar ones... It also doesn't tuck under the Fuse box like the others do (except the Simota one)
  3. I upload into my gallery space and then place a link to there
  4. Damn straight it does, yet the Excel gets more cred... go figure...
  5. I decided that the 'ring was too long... I'm half way through benchmarking a few models at Le Mans though... will take a screen shot when I'm done (some interesting results too) I have used the Le Mans without the chicane too and found that the diffences in top speeds is negligable as some with higher top speeds are actually slower in other sections so it's all balancing out...

    My Camry Build

WOO HOO now that's what I like to hear!!! :D
  7. had a quick look and these guys look like they are the most active in the forums... Camry Terry Bigdenis Perthcamry Rob.C. Celica 51EKA BlkZR 2ZZ-GE Sportivo - current forum Admin too tangcla
  8. there's a couple from NT who occasionally post about meets up there at Hidden Valley raceway, but I can't think of any from Tas...
  9. it has been raised that there are no Camry drivers moderating the Camry forum. Perhaps we could get active users in each forum to moderate each too. This would be for the Camry and Celica ones I guess for now...
  10. I'll also point out that the Moderator list is in the process of being updated (see the General section) if you would like a couple of Camry drivers to moderate the Camry forum, they may just make that happen for you. :) :)
  11. can you point out somewhere that we have ridiculed anyone for owning a Camry? There is only one way to increase the activity in this forum and that is to be active, drum up interest, come along to the meets. As for Auto Salon... Maybe you will need to be a groundbreaker there and make a show car and enter yourself. There are a few great examples I have seen, they are definately a car with a lot of potential. In the US they are modded very well and look brilliant!!!!
  12. don't worry we cop our own fair share by driving a corolla too, that fact remains, it's not a Skyline or a WRX so people tend to ignore it due to ignorance. There is only one way to change their minds and that is to get out there and show them what can be done... PS you won't get ridiculed at our Toyota cruises... :)
  13. Well, I didn't buy fuel yesterday, I won't buy any tomorrow, I most likely won't buy any on the weekend and I think I make do until I'm on the way back from WSID next wednesday... this tank I filled on sunday 28 august for the cross city tunnel cruise by the way... sure does save $$$$$ and the environment to use a bike, or even public transport...
  14. hate to tell you this Zee... Wednesday night... :( it's always Wednesday night at WSID!!! :P

    HELP RIMS

21 offset is for RWD I thought. They will surely scrub on the Camry. Like has been said, look for something around +40mm offset
  16. not really, he just likes to do things right 1st time :)
  17. is that the small bit of pipe that comes out from the back of the main pipe? as the design of the AEM is very similar, I blocked mine off by cutting the supplied vacuum hose (it connects to the lower VSV in th US models) just longer then the bit of pipe and screwed a bolt into the end of it (cost about 50c from Bunnings) take the tube in with you so you know the right size to get too ;)
  18. hehehehe I like this idea, I'll get at it tonight :D
  19. but that was rumour, this is straight from the mouth of Toyota...

  21. I agree that this particular thread is a good one, but he was warned several time before for posting 5-6 ads a day. Thankfully that has stopped, and he's calmed down to be a much better poster now. He only posts when we ack for information about an item or if there is a new item in of high demand, such as the eyelids. He's doing a good job now. IMHO
  22. Is it possible to get a search engine in the garage to search for keywords. Currently we can only search for usernames. This will greatly assist in finding out what people have done what to thier cars quickly to find the right people for advice. Eg insert the word Exhaust into the engine and it comes up with a list of people that have modified their exhaust. Cheers Dylan
  23. feel free to print out a picture of mine to show them (Danthuyer has a good example of a cut skirt to fit the exhaust tip also), another method though is to adjust the tip so it point down, like Zeerolla.
  24. nice, I like the black chrome ones better than the silver.
