Sorry justin, it was only me who talked about grear oil. Sportiv commented on the engine feedback he got through the transmission using FUCHS engine oil.

no need for new wheels, just replace the tyres... Also, as they are still pretty new keep them and sell them 2nd hand, you may scrape a little cash out of it to help pay for the replacements.

These are too small... that's your problem. About 4% if you have a sportivo by memory. I got into an arguement with a guy in a tyre store that will remaim nameless over this, as he told me to go for these as they were cheaper and more common, but for one, they are not the correct load rating, two, not the right size so throws your speedo off by lots. The guy basicly said I was an idiot and didn't know what I was talking about and told me I should listed to him as he's a professional tyre fitter. So prefessional that he didn't even realise that the Sportivo had a different load rating and tyre size to the standard corolla, and wouldn't listen to be when I explained it to him. He lost my business... put me off buying wheels + tyres for a while... also missed out on getting a great set of wheels for my car too, and these guys are the only place I've found that sells them

I went for my first REAL drive with it tonight and it was starting to smell a bit too, but I assumed it was the new Gear Oil that was put in. The feel from the Penrite 10 10ths is great and very slick when warm but is still notchy when cold. I've found that I get a bit of feedback through the steering wheel with the FUCHS engine oil, didn't notice the feedback through the transmission like you mentioned.

in that case yes they are the real deal but see if you can find one for free first. Those auctions are alway running so you have time to look :)

What is your current wheel/tyre size? Do you have a pic of the gap?

Is there a Corolla Sportivo in APCC Dylan? or are u refering to rally? ← Rick Bates competed in the Eastern Creek round about a month ago or so... But we have been informed elsewhere that it was just a single event thing :(

first things first, before you panic... Is the A/C on hot and do you have it directed to your feet. There is an outlet at the base on the B-pillar this could be the issue...

How come the engine in the 2ZZ-GE corollas are limmitted at 8200rpm then?

Depends on the dealership. Where I bought my car it was Mobil1 but at Wollongong it's Castrol GTX2.

has anyone get an obd2 scanner in their back pocket that they can measure the knock with??? What's an obd2 sensor?? doesn't the engine have an automatic knock sensor/adjustor programmed into the ECU???

Ignore my comments I just realised how out of date the start of the topic was... :P Leanne is running around in improved production (in an RX7) and kicking some serious behind this year too :) I think this one is one that she and Garth built together in Melbourne.

Procar are a bit out of date... every other race category in the country are calling her Leanne Tander.... I saw when Rick Bates was running around Eastern Creek on SPEEDWEEK and was dicing with the Celicas quite comfortably. I thought he was going to compete more in the series though... Good to see Leanne back behind the wheel of this little beast though. I thought Rick was going to take it over to South Anerica next year too to run in some endurance event (can't remember the name of it though)

Nice... APEC race 6... I looked at getting those in GOLD, I still may yet, though I felt like they weighed a bit. Can you give an indication of the differnece between these and your RJRs? Cheers EDIT... Are those 17s or 18s?
