  1. Filter looks identical to my AEM one... the pipe is a lot different though... Also those foggies look like they'd be a biatch to take out, and I thought the little squeeze release in the '03-04 models was painful to remove!!!
  2. you guys should check the buy/sell section in regards to badges, there are plenty to choose from...
  3. What say we meet in Hurstville at 2pm, where's a good spot? KT? Age? you are the guys that live there... where's a good spot to meet?
  4. Nothing wrong with outsourcing to a panel beater, they are the professionals after all, I actually prefer it to Toyota handling it themselves and doing a half @rsed job as they do not deal with body repairs and paint issues. If it is a Warrany job it is also a Zero outlay on your part (Toyota foots the bill) and I'm sure they want it done well first time so they don't want to keep dealing with it. But of course some times things do not go 100% to plan but a majority of cases run smoothly.
  5. doesn't matter how much a door handle is it should be fixed under warranty!!!
  6. as they manufacture them they may come as blanks and get drilled to 4x100...
  7. is there a way to remove the fielder badge and replace with a Z one, or a toyota one?
  8. Black corollas seem to be breeding in Northy's garage, and putting on some extra weight too... that'd be a dangerous place to step into with the lights out ;)
  9. I've done Chemistry and now doing my PhD in Engineering... go figure...
  10. Sounds like tree hugging hippy crap :P sorry, couldn't resist... :P
  11. DBA do not make brakes compatible with our cars, nor do they make blanks anymore either (and lost quite a few sales because of it too ). Dave (Screaminrolla) has DBA upgrade brakes designed for the Celica and got them re-drilled... cost a bit too in not only cash but time and effort to find some one willing to do the work...

that's precisely why I mentioned it, the 1000K service is part of the quality control and is a requirement to make sure everything is tightened up after the initial run in period. You can also opt to have an oil change but it is not a necessity, I didn't and my car put out 115kW at the wheels 2 years and 27,000kms later...
  13. I'm at Uni of Wollongong, Engineering (Materials) but travel up to UNSW and USyd to use instruments on occasions. What field of Science?
  14. Nooiiiiiiiiiiicccccccccceeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

  16. well he does need a reason to put that LSD to full effect... when does the Supercharger bolt on...?? :P
  17. I gave mine a treatment of Meguiar's ScratchX then Meguiar's Gold Class on the weekend - RESULT - no more swirlies :D :D :D
  18. Be sure to have a LONG chat to Bill on the weekend ;)
  19. Cheeky Age - I can meet you in Hurstville if you like and KT_haha as he's from around there too. I was going to head up the Hume/Cumby Highway but can go through Hustville instead, and we can all drive there together. :D Zee - are you interested in going? Do you need a lift?
  20. But wait there's more.... Mattig Aluminium floor mats.... :D Also interested in a price for the Savage Cars bodykit... Cheers Steve I think that's all now, but you never know, I may think of something else later....
  21. I like it... I say BUY NOW!!! the Green look great too, matched real well!!
  22. Orciari Italy BodyKit Corolla E12 front spoiler, rear, spoiler, side skirts - 5door ORCIARI-00515 Seen at TRC-tuning.com Would most like the sides and rear skirt but if it only comes as a complete kit that would be OK, I'd just have a complete kit to sell when the old one comes off ;)
  23. That's the 2nd Sportivo I've seen with that set-up now ;) the other one was a guy I used to play basketball against in Adelaide (White Sportivo on 18's) it's the only corolla on 18's that had bakes that didn't look rediculously small... Gotta love that stopping power though, how's it effect the brake force distributor???
  24. Even better would be the NSW plates WAS48I Don't have to pay too much for the peronalised plates that way as they are the same as the current format ;)
  25. Nice work... Interesting about the fitment issues though, seams the TRD and AEM are a better choice for pipe fitment, though they both have bracket problems... Was it one piece or 2 piece in the end? Can't wait for the pics :D
