I'd personally choose the one that's behind door #3... it looks near identical to the AEM and Injen ones just without the branding... not a bad price either, just find out from them the cost of shipment to Australia!!!

Craig you have to stop talking about yourself in the 3rd person, people may think you have split personalities or something :P But I completely agree with you on these statements. It was a tradgedy when Lakeside closed it's doors as Australia lost it's BEST short track circuit. With the impending closure of Oran Park, there is one more going to the developers. There are counry side circuits such as Wakefield Park, Winton and Mallala that get great patronage but people often have to drive for 1-3 hours to get there. Governments may see these sites as an easy land grap opportunity, but there is a social resposnibilty being upheld by keeping these facilities in place. The education of young driver becomes more and more important and is stressed more and more, every time we see a 'P' plate fatality.

Not sure about the helmet as I think it needs to be closed face btu don't quote me on that. The Toymods site has a link to the WSID rules, it may be in there... Toymods have invited anyone from here to join in for the day to get a few more Corollas out there, or else it will be a procession of Cressidas. Tou can register and post your intention to race there so they know how many to expect to assist in organising a private staging lane. just tell them you are from here and they'll know who you are... As far as a place to meet goes you are coming from the opposite direction as Dave and myself so some where close to Eastern Creek would be good, such as just off the M4. I don't know that area at all so maybe some one else would know a good place. The twin servos are out though as they are passed the turn off...

yep, it was a one off donated by Lambo to the Italia Polizi in an attempt to lift it's profile and sales, particularly after the launch of Bugattis now monster (which was still only rumoured at the time but enough to have (rightly so) had them shaking at the knees).

Dude, it was one person (easilly ignored) and I'm sure it was meant in jest... Most people here think that the car looks pretty HOT (myself included) and love the plans you have for it... br sure to keep us informed. If you look at ther past members that have moved on to bigger brighter and BETTER things (ah la Peekay and Iliv46) they still bop in here occasionally for some banter and to say g'day. I for one enjoy seeing other cars then Toyotas on occasions. Each car should be based on it's own merit and not it's brand name. Yes there are even some 1/2 decent Hyundai's these days...

it's a JDM spec exhaust... there is a barrel muffler that runs parallel to the rear just beyond the torsion beam. there is no skirt on the sportivo as the exhaust blows directly on to it and melts it (as I found out the hard way) see my garage for one of the many remedys

This is NEXT WEDNESDAY guys WSID = Western Sydney International Dragway (this is right next to Eastern Creek Raceway for those that may not know) My G/F will be out to take some pics of the cars too as they zoom down the track if anyone is interested.

going on the 31st August, next Wednesday night If you jack up the front l/h side you will see a small panel in front of the wheel in the underbody. There are s screws and a pop plug holding it in. Take them out and lower this panel. Then unplug the wires that connect the foggies and there should be some press clamps that hold it in. The just pop the lights out. This is for the pre facelift anyway, it may (most definately will be) different for the facelift ones though

I actually saw it on Speedweek a couple of weeks back for the F3s at Queensland raceway, look funny in front of those things too :D

Next year said piano will only have ~700hp due to 2 less cylinders, but yeah you are right, money is being to the track into a series that due to oversight and over strict control does no longer allow for development of features that can ultimately aid the regular consumer which should be the sole intention of such a Hi-Tech sport. But that's an argument for another forum I browse... :P

I'd personally make 1 and 2 shorter to make if easier to stay in lift on the 1-2 and 2-3 change but the downside is that it will affect the amount of wheel-spin on take-off hence will NEED and LSD to match where right now we can JUST get away with not having an LSD and maintain acceleration control.

I'd go with a combination of what Danz and Wei Wei have said. You have CAI which save you a bit You have some nice wheels which saves you a lot... add to that... in order of installation... Suspension: Koni Yellow adustable shocks Whiteline tower strut brace Whiteline rear sway bar Whiteline adjustable front sway bar Whiteline camber bolts (you may want to look at upgrading your bushes and U-bolts too) Gearing: Exedy H/D clutch kit Fidanza light weight flywheel TRD Limitted Slip Diff (though the Meridian motorsport one that Danz mentioned could be an option too depending on price) Air Flow: HONDATA heat shield Machine intake headers Machine Exhaust headers (or look at getting some custom ones made, TRD ones are a waste of money IMHO) shop around for an aftermarket s/s exhaust (eg CES Racing) Engine Management: APEXi PowerFC (do this last!!!!)
