I come close to big-bum's records, but not quite there. However, I'm also having trouble removing the stains. I think car manufactureres are trying to come out with more environmentally freindly hi-performance technology hence no turbos, using sohc etc.. ← It was my belief that DOHC was both more fuel efficient and produces a cleaner burn so cleaner emmisions (less NOx produced)

Hi guys, just wondering if any of you have any experience with penrite 10 tenths 75W-90 gear oil? I'm putting it in the gearbox on Thursday. It is designed for motorcycles and highly strung racing gearboxes so I hope it's better than the standard... a little bit cheaper than the Redline and came in a handy 2.5L bottle too (the gearbox takes 2.3L so perfectly allowing for some spillage)... I'll keep you informed on the results too....

Wonder where they got this stat from cause most dealers couldn't get enough of them... ← I do not know.. I am working in for Toyota and that is what the "top guys" at Toyota told us.. From my point of view, they simply doesn't interest in sport cars at all, they keep told us that Sport cars has very short product life cycle, they sell very well in first couple of years only. I seriously do not know.. ← They obviously haven't seen Mazda's business model... MX5 - biggest selling sports car of all time!!! and how old is that???

3rd to 4th in lift is the sweetest of sweet... it never fails, falls nicely to about 6700 :D and slots in soooooo smoothly I'll let you know about the 1-2 after Thursday ;) Hopefully it'll FINALLY be fixed now that I've gotten off my (not so) fat **** to get it fixed.

this is very sad news indead... They are perhaps looking to bring in the Sciron from the USA but will be in late '06 at the earliest as they are only produced in left and drive at the moment.

oz - pretty close to some of my Records :) Well, I think I had the 1st Blue 'Stivo in South Aus - took delivery on 3rd August 03 - and I think it was number 5 or 6 in South Aus. Oldest Blue Sportivo driver ( 37 ) - Guess what I bought for my 35th birthday - and it actually turned up 2 weeks early! There is one other record that I could claim but won't ever admit to it - Again and won't post it here ;) Closest to 40,000Km at 2 years old - 40,137 Least number of washes. Me - 3 times, plus 4 times at the dealership when it has been serviced - making only 7 washes in 2 years and 2 weeks. ← Sorry to kill your excitement but I took delivery of mine on 17 July 2003 from Cornes Toyota. :P Mine is also the first Sportivo in Australia to be fitted with the rear bumper skirt (hence all the problems with the melted bits, as they simply didn't know...)

It's all here!!!!! :P It was unveiled back in March 2004 at the Melbourne Motor Show... actually a 2.4L turbo :P
