  1. I don't think Azza wanted any unwanted 'goodies' in his luggage either!!!
  2. Matrix XR - 1ZZ-FE similar layout to our 'Rolla hatches Matrix XRS - 2ZZ-GE similar layout to the 'Rolla Sportivo
  3. Geez I'm glad I got in to read Azza'a post in time, that was good stuff... I still feel she was lucky to get away with 20 years. Going by opinion polls in Bali she should consider herself lucky...
  4. I think that silver membership should come complementary with every 1000 posts :P Just kidding, I'll sort it out soon...
  5. The good news is it is not a death sentence. At least she has a chance to appeal the decision now and even for the government to step in and get her shipped back to serve the sentence in Australia. It's not all bad. Yeah their legal system sucks compared to ours, who'd want to be guilty unless PROVEN innocent. Here and doubt is put in the defences favour, over there, all doubt is heald against you.
  6. exactly... he seems happy with it now so what's the problem??? Forget the bull***t and read the bottom line... :P All he was saying in the post is how great it works with CAI compared to without it, as they SYNERGISE :P I just wanted to say it once... Now play nice... :P
  7. I don't think anyone has tryed it here. Does anyone know what the part # is for the Sportivo, I've tryed looking at the Injen website but it seems full of Honda crap (as you'd expect)
  8. I don't even live in Adelaide any more but some of the best meeting places I found were, Castle Plaza (meet on the corner next to Hungry Jacks), Big W on Goodwood road corner with Cross Road (meet down the back behind the car yard as there are always parks there) - these are great for going up Belair Road (windy point) through Backwood to whereever you want from there (Mt Lofty Summit, Corro Valley, Clarendon, South etc) or you can get to the freeway easy up cross road. Firle Shopping Centre just off Magill Road (close to the road there are always car parks as this car park is HUGE) - Good meeting point for Norton Summit Road, Gorge Road, Greenhills Road etc East and North East) Flinders Uni car park 8 is also good (follow the ring road all the way to the back overlooking Sturt Gorge right by the chemisty department, I spent 4 years of my life there I know it'a a good spot for a meet esp on weekend as you'll be lucky if there are more them 5 cars in the car park) - Good also for going up to Blackwood etc South East but also going to the south coast and Fluorio Peninsula. 9. Cheers for that Azza, it will be interesting to see the difference between the 2 stock stivos too, it makes some more sense, but I still believe will not give you a 100% definative answer, this will require you to get 5 stock cars, run them all stock, fit the exhaust then run them again, then you can find an average increase due to the exhaust only... But your plan looks good with the resources you are given... :D
  10. I did not realise this... They only get the 1ZZ engine over there so may not be 100% compatible... I thought there was a specific one for the 2ZZ... There are a few others with the Simoto CAI installed into the Sportivo with no issues though, I've seen 2 with my own eyes, and yes they do look smaller then the TRD and AEM pipes but the final placement of the pod is the same. Blackrolla had an issue with the join being loose on his I think due to the angle of the 2nd piece to the filter so be careful with that.
  11. I still haven't got around to booking mine in to get the clutch adjusted, I'm now planning to get my 40,000 km service done at Sydney City Toyota and ask them to fix all the issues that Wollongong won't touch. A group effort sounds like a good plan though. I'll let you guys know the date that I book in for and see if we can add any other names to the list to get fixes. :)
  12. Congratulations and welcome aboard!!!
  13. ditto Azza - this will not help other then a very little bit as not all cars are built equal, esp those coming out of South Africa, needs to be same car, same conditions, same Dyno, but if we can't have that then I guess every little bit helps... :)

    HI ALL

Depends, there are a couple of others on here that prefer to be part of 'Team Panda'... :P ← Panda? Do their cars have black spots? Or are the sports the tinted windows and tyres? ← Influx is a very good example of the 'panda' look... check it out... Influx's garage

  21. Here Here.... This is the exact reason why I'm intending looking at the Simota CAI with ITG pod, no one has tested it properly yet, ie dyno graphs, and as it is only ~$200 I don't mind going to the AEM CAI if I'm not 100% happy as the price will still be comparible to the TRD one at the end of the day and that is what I originally budgeted for. Doctony I believe is doing the same with the AEM CAI so at the end of this we can look at the graphs for the 3 CAI and people can make their own decisions. What I would like to know is those people out there with alternatives to the CES exhaust, could you please post some results, so we can make similar comparisons for exhaust 'upgrades'. But I stress that if this happens people have to be open-minded about the results and allow people to make their own choices at the end of the day. Don't simply go flaming other peoples results in order to defend your product choice, at the end of the day if the customer (you) are happy with the result that is all that matters. Cheers Guys and Gals That's my peace keeping effort for the day... next stop NATO... Dylan
