  2. No-way!!! the 86's kept up! awesome! i thought the GT-R would at least leave them coming out of the corner and the straights.... that's pretty embarrassing for a GT-R.
  3. juz got 18's today. they're 18x7.5 with 215x35 rubbers...
  4. ok...took quick pics.. stivo is REALLY DIRTY! so it ain't as shiny as normal. hope this helps. i just used a can of "Night Shades" and was liberal. If you use it according to the instructions, it's very hazzy and dull. So if you just spray more than enough, it'll gloss over. :D
  5. oh crap! totally forgot about this... i'll take pics as soon as it stops raining here. and when she's clean. heheh.
  6. Stock Red Stivo on Sunnyholt Rd (near parklea) following me... and right after that saw another stock Black Stivo on Sunnyholt Rd... :D
  7. When did you see it? I was in the area yesterday. any more details on what the black stivo had?
  8. I've done this to my taillights. Like in November last year. With the night shades, with the right application method you can get it smooth and shiny. mine is pretty shiny and dark. i'd take pics, but i'm not in country atm. there's pic of it somewhere on the forum i think. i removed the lights from the car (very simple, three bolts on the back. best tool to use is the one that comes in the boot. fits perfectly around the bolt). apply around 4 coats (depending on how dark you want it)...on the last coat...spray lots and slowly..this will saturate the face. there is a very fine line between glossy and having run off. you also have to be careful with the paint collecting and dripping from the spray nozzle itself. First attempt...turned out horrible. 3 hrs and 1lt of turps/metho and LOTS of spare rags...i hand removed ALL the tint and started from scratch..OMG!!!!!! this is something you definately want to avoid. i've got very small areas of not so glossy, but i'm not fussed. i'm happy the way it turned out. oh, and it looks even better when you tape up the reverse lights and spray the rest in tint, very 'elegant' or whatever word fits that. did it to a lancer. besides that, it's very very slick and nice. As you can see on my signature, i did it to my side and rear lights. looks great! esp on black cars. i can organise for sum1 to take pics of it if you really want to see.
  9. The guy who owns it came over to my house to show me what he's done. All i can say is...DAYEM!!! it's GONNA BE QUICK!!!!!!!! (once the two extra injectors are connected and the car fully tuned) Turboed 1ZZ-FE Hope you guys like. Hey Grimlock... ;) ;) ;) i think he'll give the ol stivo a run for its money... :( Chris
