i've heard/experienced them. whiteline and dobinsons are totally seperate. dobinsons may overtake king springs in the near future. why? because king springs only make SET suspensions. whilst with dobinsons, they make them according to what the customer wants...and...if enough distributors say that something needs to be changed with a certain spring, the company actually listens and does something about it. Kings, are too proud and their attitude is.."if you don't like it, don't buy it". oh..and king springs also get dobinsons to make some springs for them...not all..some. because kings do not have the facilities to make LARGE diametre springs. dobinsons does...which gives them a market advantage. oh, and they are/should be the same price as kings. dobinsons are the blue/green/aqua colour. dobinsons is on the road to recovery, the previous managers tried to bankcrupt the company and then try and buy it off the owner. owner finally saw it happening and appointed an administrator..fired all the cons..and hired back all the good ones. in regards which is better.. a set of dobinsons work and fit better than a set of king springs on a mitsubishi lancer CE. and then some kings work better on others...either way..they're both pretty good. but...if u wnt custom springs..dobinsons can do it. i got my sportivo lowered with kings for $400 and my friend got his lancer vr-x lowered for $400. umm...anything else? would you like fries with that? *phew*

in regards to the rattle from the suspesion. i noticed the same rattle with my friend's TEIN Flex Coil Over Suspension. i mentioned it to him, and he said that it was a characteristic of coil overs. he also mentioned that you can get these 'sponges' or 'rubber stoppers' that can be placed underneath the spring so they don't bounce around. *shrugs*

when ever i use the power windows, my headlights dim too. not too much...but noticeable enough.

speed humps...i alway slow down and take it easy. corners...take it easy too. yeah, i do have problems with the rubber scrubbing the guards. eg: if i go too quick over humps/dips or corner too hard. but..this problem is going to be rectified, straight talk suspension is goingn to fix the camber on the front. the rear doesn't scrub at all. oh..and going into my garage...i place a piece of wood infront to get it...ehhehe that's the price you pay for looks. ride wise: it's beautiful! it's not uncomfortable at all. sure, it's a little firmer, but it's because it follows the road more.

before my 10,000km service, i could snap 1-->2-->3 @ 7,900 and land in lift. now, after my 10,000km service, i can't do it anymore. 1-->2-->3 crunches at high revs...even at low revs, i can feel the synchros not fully working and the teeth hitting each other as i try to engage gears. Yeah, sure, i've absolutey HAMMERED my gearbox/clutch...but...it should still servive! it's only 6 months old! my 2001 ce lancer and 2002 levin didn't have gearbox/clutch problems and i drove them the same. <_< <_< <_< is there anything i can do? eg: get it fixed/replaced under warranty?

i'll back you guys up: eg: signing and that. even if the car is producing a littles less that 141kw..that's still a LOSS! No-way will i ever accept fake performance representation. :D

lite: try looking in the boot/hatch on the tarago. the toyota hiace windscreen washer bottle is in the back of the vehicle. try that.

NOO!!! Don't go to liverpool exhaust. i had a full exhaust done by them and it blew up a week later..and i lost power. i highly recommend you go to Carline Mufflers Mt. Druitt (if in western sydney). they use a full lukey system and will definately increase power. if u go to the gallery, you'll see my dyno sheet comparison between liverpool and carline. oh...and that was $1200's wasted at liverpool.

danz: yep. i'm using 215/45/r17. i have no idea what my offset is. gonna call the place i bought them from and find out. only rubs when i go over humps/dips too fast. slowly, everything works fine =) The ride is BEAUTIFUL!!! It's not rough at all. Sure, a little more road feel. But definately not like (BOUNCE! OUCH! BOUCE!). they're Low Kings PN: KTFL-105 (front) KTRL-106 (rear) from what i remember. ride is excellent! post pictures once i get good ones =)

can sum1 explain how to interperate offset? i have no idea. i'm getting my car lowered today by 35mm. and i was looking at the wheels side on, they stick out heaps! and without lowering, looks like the wheels from the front and rear, the edge of the rubber is just within the guards...about 1mm in from the guards. what kinda offset would i have then?

17" x 7" Ozzy Racing White Rims Flaken 502 Ziex 215/45/R17. the stivo might be getting lowered tomorrow. a drop of 1.5" (35mm) i don't wanna be too low and scraping and rubbing. does anyone have any problems with the rubber rubbing against the wheel arch? (in regards to having too wide of an offset or something) my rims look like they're a bit too wide...but the suspension shop said i shouldn't have any problems...(i hope!)

I'm quite interested. how much? shouldn't have too much trouble wiring it up...i hope.

this info would be most helpful, as my transmission is very very hard to shift now. (maybe due to the fact that i 1/2 clutch all the time)
