Depending what you want to spend, $ wise. 1MZ-FE TRD SC WILL fit fairly easily on the 3VZ-FE. You need to make an adapter tube to go between the throttle and SC to put the IAC valve (it;s in the intake plenum which the SC replaces). You can get rid of the 7th injector int he intake plenum by changing the 2 fuel rails to the ones from a 1MZ-FE which doesn't have the 7th injector. Couple other issues: 1: You'll need to run a standalone ECU. I;ve heard the OEM ECU can;t deal with the power increase. 2: Being a RHD car, you'll have to change the brack/clutch master cylinder. Couple people have done this to the Gen 4 1MZ Camry there, and it should be the same for your car. But not 100% sure. And I HIGHLY recommend replacing the Head Gaskets on the 3VZ before you boost, as that is the weak point.

Toyota Type-IV is a Toyota specific fluid. I heard a while back some aftermarket companies were coming out with it, but still yet to see any. I live in the US. I did a drain and fill on my mom's '05 and got the T-IV at my local dealer for it.

Oddly, the Gen 5 here from 2002-2003 didn't have VVTi, but the 2004-2006 did. I don;t know why they changed it really. I;ve still yet to actually see someone use the 1MZ TRD SC on the Gen 5. It'd be pretty cool to see someone do it there.

Hell, it even fits the Gen 3 Camry here in the US with the 1MZ-FE engine, lol. Actually, it fits the Gen 3 3VZ-FE too, lol. Just needs a few mods. But it actually bolts up perfect to the 3VZ. :) It won;t work on most of the Gen 5's int he US because they had VVT-i. The non VVT-i ones should work.

If people need more info on this setup. It's a RippMods 5SFE Supercharger from Vortec. It;s much more relaible and cheaper then a Turbo. It's been tested and has stood up quite well. With this setup will be upgraded injectors, custom fuel line I made with a built in Fuel Pressure Guage, Walbro 255LPH fuel pump (return style fuel system, so 255 is fine to run), and Apexi SAFC and AEM UEGO Wideband for tuning the stock ECU. It's not a common car to mod, thats why it would be best to have someone experienced in Toyota's to tune it.

^ Shannon, the Gen 3 here in the US had an optional 6 speaker system, and it had an external amp under the Pass seat. IF it is anything like ours here, you just bypass it behimd the radio. In the same area there should be another connector that you just unhook, and thats the same connector used on the 4 speaker model with an internal amp. Unfortunatley I do not have a pic for you.

No, nothing, done, end. You won;t gain anything. As I like to put it, if this was real, don't you think Toyota would have used it form the factory? Not going to gain anything.

you could drive there. thats how im getting there. i'm running the standard tyres that come with the camry. bridgestone RE92's. ill drive her nice and slow in the snowy roads. Bring a shover, and a LARGE bag of sand, or kitty litter if there is going to be a lot of snow and/or ice. And as stupid as it sounds, when you hit snow, if there is an empty parking lot, just have fun and start spining the car out in the parking lot. thats the best way t get a feeling for how to control a car in snow. And man, it;s a lot of fun.

Nothing needs to be done. The ONLY thing I change when winter hits here is I change my performance tires to snow tires, as performance tires can NOT, I repeat, can NOT be used in snow or ice. All season tires are fine to use. I just hope this isn't your 1st time driving in snow.

1: normally the strut mounts are replaced with the struts. Did they do that? If not, they likely broke. 2nd place to look at is the sway bar links not being completely ightened. 2: I can't quote prices as I'm not in Aus, but the labor is what is a lot. It's a hard job.

It's an electrical issue for sure. I'd lean to the side of a loose ground wire.

The OEM Toyota part # for the tC and Camry 2AZ crank pulley is the same, lol. Couple guy's here int he States have used the tC crank pulley on thier Camry's.

The brake booster connects to the Intake plenum, no where near the intake itself. If the loose of vacuum was bad enough to effect the brakes, the car wouldn't even be running.

Either you broke something, or it;s all in your head. Pick one. And the brakes have NOTHING in ANY way to do with the intake. Up untill recently, I was running an OEM air filter on a 100% stock ECU with a TRD Supercharger. Neither the filter or ECU has to do with it unless the ECU shorted out somehow.

If you decide to do it I can give you a list of the parts to get (should be pretty cheap), and do a quick writeup for you. It;s really pretty easy. Just 4 bolts that hold the cover on.

Perfect, thats the easy and cheap oil leak. :) The valve cover gasket. I think you call it the Rocker Cover in Australia. It's a normal thing to happen, and I've replaced it on several different cars. Then the gasket gets old and brittle, the oil leaks out, and sometimes quite a lot. If a mechanic does the repair, it should not be more then 2 hours labor. I can do it myself in under 1 hour. If your car savy, you can do it yuorself. :)

From the area you describe, ir;s either 1, or both of the following most likely. 1: Valve cover gasket (pretty cheap and easy) 2: Cam or Crank seals. Do you know if it ever had a timing belt change?

Ok, now I'm just flat out confused. You have a Gen 6 and do not have stock projector low beams? I thought all Gen 6's had projector low beams.

I'm running a no name HID kit in my '92-96 ES300 Halogen projectors and there is no issies at all.
