  1. I had to replace my steering rack around 190,000km due ot the same issue. It's pretty common here in the US. I'd also guess the one you got was not overhauled correctly as well.
  2. NICE! I'e seen a 2JZGTE Toyota Pickup here in the US (There are a others that have done it too).
  3. I have not personally done any (Except helped with an I4 to V6 swap in a Camry), but I;ve seen a lot. My friend right now is swapping in a 3SGTE into his AE86. I know another guy that swapped a 3SGTE into a Mk1 MR2, 3VZ V6 into an early 90's Celica, and just a lot of nice swaps into older Corolla's. I go to many Old School car shows.
  4. I think I remember something about this a while ago......I'll have to ask my dealer on Sat when I go in.
  5. LOL I learned something back in college......Ice + Blender = snowballs. ;)
  6. ^ Funny enough, in January I was in Soth Florida which is usually Hot, even now in winter........2 days I was there it got to 2C, which was the colest it had been in 6 years. I go there to get away, and it;s still cold!
  7. Been hearing about the fires there ont he news. I feel bad for how many people have lost thier lives. Really sad. Hopefully the fires will come to an end soon fro you guys. The windchill here is -13C. It will be a little lower tonight. I'm just rolling on my beat to hell crappy OEM 15's with no center caps, lol. And the snow tires are near the end of thier life. they don;t last very long due to just how soft the rubber compound is. The road salt kills rims unfortunatley. My car is caked in it right now sinc eI just got back from the post office.
  8. Rolla Boy, I have my snow tires on, haha. I go out driving for FUN in snow!
  9. 12:45am, I can;t wait to see what it;s like when I wake up!
  10. I like it. Here in the US we used to have the Previa (Estima in Japan), and in the late 90's, they got rid of it and gave us the Sienna in it's place.
  11. The Burgundy was my old '92 I4 Camry, and the Blue one is my mom's '05 I4. My mom's '05 actually has a bumpy suspension like a boat, but steers easy. The '05 is actually MUCH MUCH quieter then any Camry up to 2001 I've been in. For the steering, are you susre the power steeing is working correctly? Here in the US, there is a known issue with a seal in the power steering syatem leaking fluid on the 02-06 models. How bad are the roads where you are? By any chance, do you have the Sportivo model? The Sportivo (I think like the USA SE (Sport) model) has a stiffer suspension and tighter steering.
  12. The tires thenselves can make a big difference. My mom's all season tires are quiet, no noise, while my snow tires you can hear whining on the pavement.
  13. ^ I do think the harness is different. They have a different part # anyway. But yeah, as he said, the grille and lights thenselves will swap fine.
  14. The reason, unfortunatley, they are so rare, is that they were only sold in a few states. It was never a real Toyota spoiler per say. It;s hard to explain, but it. The part # for the spoiler does not even exist in the Toyota computer. <_< I've tried. If I ever get my hands on one, I;m have a batch remade in fiberglass. But who the hell knows whne that will be.
  15. ^ As soon as I looked at TN, I figured you screwed up on dates, lol. Rob (BigBird's) was not flush. It was actually higher then the OEM spoiler. I don't know of any other Saturn ones people have used. I may have missed it.....
  16. Who the **** on TN is selling a lip spoiler? Last 2 that sold went for $300AUD BEFORE shipping. As for the saturn, BigBird had a saturn spoiler, not a lip spoiler. He now has the rare lip spoiler on the car when the previous owner put it on (eyeball96), who ironically, has one on his other Camry too......*****, lol. If you got the US Black Depo headlights, you'd be fine doing a projector retrofit in them using RHD projectors. You wouldn't have an issue. That would be the only good way for you to do it.
  17. This is actually a REALLY good cutoff. Mine are not as good. But there really is no good way to adjust the headlights properly for hte opposite side.
  18. Shannon, the issue with the US Depo's with Projectors are those do need to be RHD specific, and I don;t think the US company can do that. :( As for the Spoiler, if I ever get my damn hands on one, I;m going to try to have 10 or so copies made.
  19. It;s possible the starter completely died. Although usually it will give you a warning and you have trouble starting the car before that happenes, but not always.
  20. 1: Mounts 2: Sway bar links 3: Sway bar bushings
  21. For the clear indicators/blinkers, there is 2 styles her ein the US. And you are correct, neither will fit. One is a 2 piece design, and the other is a single like yours, but much shorter. As for the headlights. they will bolt onto your car fine. 2 issues: 1: They use different bulbs. Outside bulbs are the Low beam, and inside is the High beam. You can easily make your own wire harness for it. 2: Yes, the beam pattern is different, so you'll need to adjust the the lights in a big way to be good. As well, they do not put out as good of light as the OEM US headlights do. You CAN get them, and do a custom HID retrofit using a Projector from a car there. This is my friends car: (Ok, don;t have pic. I'll take a pic tomorrow and post it for you) As for the Spoiler, if it's the same one as int he pic below (my car), it is RARE. I was just seeing something on that spoiler, and it was not attached. It;s on my friends car now. I've been trying to get one for 2 years. And if you find one, they can sell over $200 used. They do not exist new as faw as I know.
  22. THANK YOU! I know nothing.....
