  1. You have installed it correctly and have plugged everything in?? I have fitted too many CAI's to remember and never had any light on the dash come on. check the VSV and the MAF are plugged in as well as the vacuum lines are blocked off.
  2. Go to a tyre and wheel shop. that's how i posted my sportivo rims to Sydney with them all tied onto a pallet.
  3. first I've heard about them doing headers for a 2ZZ???? Maybe the cheapo crappy things for a 1ZZ but if they have let's see some pics or evidence. Be interesting to see.... Simo CES FTW
  4. Well it probably was silver in colour cause they are the only ones N/A that can easily reach that sort of speed...
  5. But if want something that is better than the PFC go Autronic. The duck nuts of aftermarket ECU's and one that works on Corolla's. That's what CES used on the turbo Sportivo they built.
  6. Man that is a nice club sticker. Shame all the cars didn't have one on them.....
  7. 1.SILVABULLIT 2.Northy 3.Azza 4.Xoom 5.Natedog11six 6.T_Money 7.Yoshi 8.H1Rolla ( now supercharged I hear...) 9.Buddha 10.DHC09 11.SuperDave 12. JC 13. Wei Wei - Evo 9 (Possibly may make an appearance) Sorry mate wont be taking the Hilux now as JC has offered me a drive in his Sportivo. I will be his chaeffuer for the night!! Ooh can't wait cause it's been a while for me since my last "lift" fix...
  8. the optimum you should be running is 34psi. Depending on the brand of tyre give or take 2 psi. 38psi is too high for everyday use. An over inflated tyre will wear just as quick as an underinflated tyre. Also don't forget that each time you drive you car for any distance tyre pressure increase with heat build up by as much as 8psi so running 38psi then add 8psi you end up driving with 46psi in your tyres which i waay too high.
  9. you can buy heavier torsion bars aftermarket. i think Whiteline may stock them but not 100% sure. check their website for details. have you adjusted the originals?? they can be adjusted to make the car sit up at the front to hold the heavier weight. I'd imagine that the V8 wouldn't a great deal heavier than the 3.0L diesel.
  10. Since you bought me into this, move it forward 2 hours and I'm in :P good on you grandpa. i have to be at work at 8am the next day so i will leave home at 7am so harden up It's at that time so we don't have too much oncoming traffic. Blinding lights on winding mountain roads isn't real good(especially if they're blue or red LED's)
  11. Never really have been a fan of fidanza clutches especially at the price they are over here. Exceedy FTW (Northy's the only one who can break them!! But he can break anything!!! )
  12. The benefits of having the ZR will be evident when you come to sell it and you get a better price as it is higher up the model range.
  13. any toyota will be fine. Hilux it is then.... STAY THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY OR COP THE FULL FORCE OF SOME NICE "LIGHT POWER"...... As Northy said any Toyota is kool or if you have another make then that's kool too. The more the merrier:)
  14. Simo if you have problems getting one then PM me and I may be able to get you one cheaper as well....
  15. Prett sure that he is doing all the rounds of the sport compact racing series. (Willowbank, Heathcote and WSID)
  16. It has a different front bar to the other models but the rest of the car visually looks the same. Mag wheels that look like hub caps and the interior is the same as the other models apart from the leather trim and TRD logo embossed into them. Definately needs 2 tone colour scheme(red/silver) with big rims (20's) and nice wide street rubber. More colour and differences in the interior and a few extra gauges on the dash. A car like this is more likely to stay on the streets than go offroad so why not give it a bit more street cred and lose the 4wd idea and run with the mini truck theme. Then if they sell well do a 4WD version with big flares on the wheel arches and big off road rubber not crappy looking factory rubber. Northy at least the Mitsubishi stand was "easy" on the eye. And the VW stand was full of beautifull looking blue cars of which we drooled over for about an hour....

  19. Happy birthday for today 4th FEB!!!!

  20. With 460 HP at the treads shouldn't it be faster??? My mates VW beetle that i crew for has only got 180 odd HP at the wheels and runs 11.80's. Yes it is rear engine and rear wheel drive so launching is easier but with nearly 300hp difference and weight wise not too much of a difference the Barina should be running into the low 11's....
  21. We are not using that sticker anymore. This is the new design that we are distributing Australia wide so everyone has the same sticker and all these different designs.
  22. Hey i think thats a pretty good price? But will the paint fade off?? Yeah the price is really good although I wonder if they will remove the calipers for you? The powder coating will last very long and will not loose colour or fade at all. Not entirely true. Powder coating will tarnish over time especially when it is subjected to heat(and a lot of it). Powdercoated rims(white) especially offroad rims that are often covered in mud or used in beach conditions do start to go an off white/dirty colour about after a while. The colour loses it's vividness and gloss.

To be honest I haven't seen any of the Alien v predator movies apart from the original Predator with big Arnie. I dont like a lot of those sci fi thriller movies. Just do nothing for me at all. Much rather watch something real on TV like Overhaulin', Ice Truckers, Deadliest Catch and that show on discovery channel about mega bridges/dams etc etc. Guess that tells you I'm definately not a nerd or in IT......
