  1. Alright kids take a chill pill and leave all the name calling for another forum not this one:) I remember a thread on here a while ago where I stated that the Police could incriminate from video footage and also people posting up about doing illegal stuff on the street and a certain few laughed at me and said it isn't possible..... guess this just adds weight to my argument somewhat. No I'm not a cop but have about 5 plus mates who are Cops and an undercover detective in the family who tell me how they stake out certain car forums for this particular reason. Now you know why as a mod team we do not tolerate any talk about street racing or doing anything illegal....
  2. I've heard some ordinary reports from a few guys in the states about the weapon R headers and that they don't produce the claimed power increases or something like that and you loose a lot of bottom end. correct me if I'm wrong but most are going with porting the stock headers and getting way bettter results. By the Way CES will freight you headers on an exchange basis. So in other words they send you the headers, you install them then send your stock ones back. If you choose not to send them back then there is some sort of price increase. Not sure how much but best to contact them direct. :D
  3. PM Northy as he now owns the car. He doesn't have any pics in his garage either... :(
  4. The only interior differences between pre and post facelift models are the MP3 headunit, the brushed aluminium centre console and door trim that is a gloss silver on the pre facelifts, the centre console arm rest has an extra small compartment on in the lid and is leather bound and the headlight symbol in the instrument cluster is slightly different as well. Apart from that everything else is the same. :D
  5. If it fits a Celica then it won't be a perfect fit on the Sportivo. The stock Celica cover fits to a degree but the intake runners are at different angles to the Corolla Sportivo so this carbon fibre cover will prolly be the same. The cut outs for the intake runners don't line up properly and to me looks a bit dodgy. Shame really cause it does look good!!!! Oh and since when has the Sportivo only been rated at 182HP??? Someone needs to get their info right ......
  6. Will have some in about a week or so. Will post up part numbers then....
  7. If he can't handle the heat then come in spring. best times would be later in the year around September/October. Not too hot but still warm enough to go for a swim. Also not peak tourist time like it is in Summer.
  8. Welcome back mate!!! Good to hear your back in one piece!! How's your car?? did your Dad rack up a few K's in it while you were gone???
  9. OI!!!! My number is still the same!!!!! Slack dog. Anyway A BBQ sounds like a plan with all the old Brissy crew. We still see each other all the time with my place now know as "Sportivo Central" where all parts are installed/swapped/removed or modified. JC also resides downstairs now and has the modding bug well and truely courteous of your truely. Good to hear from you again mate. Has your number changed?? If not I"ll give you a ring :D
  10. I'd prolly put the stock panel filter in just to play safe. Sticker is definately silver with black writing same as the one Micky Tee posted up.
  11. Mate come to Brisbane and I'll hook you up with a Fraser island or Great barrier reef tour. I work part time for Sunset Safari's doing 4WD tours to these and other locations. PM me and I'll see if I can help!! We'll also organise a Brissy members meet up as well if we can.
  12. Aren't EBC pads really hard on discs?? As for ABS at Slacks Creek I deal with them all the time for work and they do a great job at what I consider a reasonable price.
  13. No more making the bed, polishing your shoes and ironing your clothes for a while eh?? Welcome back mate and good to hear you didn't shoot yourself!!!
  14. Mate cutting a hole is cutting a hole no matter where it is. It will still be noticed by anyone with a keen eye.
  15. Should fit without any hassles. Will tyr and get some pics up today of one installed on Sportivo pre facelift.
  16. No probs guys and thank you for being patient with the Australia Post stuff and all. Glad your happy.
  17. I think this is a waste of money as the "gains" will be very slim to nothing if my research tells me anything. If it did work then don't you think the likes of Northy, Xoom, myself and others who have been here on this site for a long time would already have one???? By all means give it a go but personally I'd rather spend the money elsewhere. As Rollamods has stated an emanage would be far more practical and tunable with some noticable results. Top of the class to Rollamods for pearls of wisdom.....
  18. Looks like you still have to cut holes in your boot trim to me. Maybe not the plastic but the material needs some sort of hole in it. The other thing is it is further back from the seat than the TRD one making it harder to put some bigger items in the boot as that may create an issue for some. :D
  19. Send your pics into Northy and then the mod team will vote on which pics make the cut or not. Doesn't matter what the car is(doesn't have to be a Corolla) so long as the picture is of a high quality and of course your car is in a very presentable state. Like I have said group shots will cause arguments cause undoubtedly some will say that "those 2 cars deserve to be there but this one and that one doesn't" if you know what I mean.
  20. Good stuff mate ..... as dylan said pics or ban :P :P :P :P :P Oh and Kebab performance would have been more than happy 2 help if u brought the car up ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) Or RBT Motorsport as Volkswagens is one of the makes we specialise in if you felt like a drive up to QLD:D
  21. Would rather have the brace on the rear suspension like the C-one version. Can see the sense in that and would be really noticable to handling characteristics.
  22. PM's sent and all posted and on their way!!!!
  23. I run about .8 negative for the street and have got just under 47 000k's out of my tyres. they have been rotated on rims every 10 000k's to even out tyre wear. I rotate them on the rims as they aren't directional.
  24. Where's all the Corolla's????? Lots of pics of everything but the Corolla's......
