    That red Auris looks bad *****.. but can anyone explain to me what's the point of the black tape on the headlight..?? I didn't think the headlights would just 'pop' out.. haha

    Nice lip John! Though I wouldn't be sure about being the first, I remember seeing a photo of a silver ZRE with a TRD lip floating around the forum before (it was either a NSW/VIC registered vehicle..). Also just remembered the one that was seen in Wheels magazine.. that had a TRD lip too.. And very tasteful mods.. love it.

    Having the plate holder makes the mod so much easier to do. You'll be fine mate. I followed the exact same guide and managed fine. Solder one wire from the conductor on the existing socket over to the new socket, and wham! bam! you're in business. :D

    That lip appears to be different from the Sportivo one we have here. The part number I have and used when purchasing my front skirt is: T0815412841A1/FRT Give that p/number a try Tutinet.

    You can get the seal from Toyota. It's about 6-7bucks and comes in rolls of 2.3 metres (black or grey). I don't know which seal you looked at, but the one I have is from a Camry Sportivo apparently. It certainly doesn't look thin to me. =)

    Well, on the JDM models, they only have the Netz emblem on the front. The rear remains as the Toyota 'T' emblem. So I say, keep the rear as the factory Toyota 'T' emblem~ =) BTW, keep up the good work John.

    I have a 2009 model Yaris YRS (2008 Dec build), and I have only ever been running V-Power in it since day one. I get pretty decent mileage out of it (522KM on my last tank - that works out to be about 7.6L/100KM) for city driving. I also just had my first 1000KM service done (changed oil and oil filter). Hopefully I'll be getting slightly better mileage again out of this current tank. I haven't tried BP Ultimate, so I can't comment.

    Thanks boys! The JDM badges are on their way, I have ordered them already. As for the camera, I'm just using a standard Sony DSC-T200 point and shoot camera... But I have taken each shot at 5 different exposures and put em all together!~

    Just a little update. No real big mods still, but have recently got myself some personalised plates! WOOHOO! So I decided to take a few snaps since we're having such beautiful weather these days.. please excuse my amateur attempts.. :) Also, I decided to put my n00b photoshop skills to the test for the first photo.. HAHA.. I tried to make it look a bit like the "Top Gear" style of automotive photography.. Enjoy! Regards, Kenneth

    They would be ok for a while.. in the long run I can not say.. your factory wires might give in and fry.. They also produce a lot more heat, assuming you bought actual 100W bulbs and not the "draw 55W -> producing 100W".. If they are just 55W bulbs producing the equivalent of 100W bulbs, they'll be fine. So if they are true 100W bulbs your reflectors might turn yellow and flake off after a long period..

    I would say the Parts Dept would not be open late night on Thursday. Their trading hours are as per normal, regardless what day it is. =)
