  1. If this had been known earlier, I doubt it would have won the bias wheels car of the year award. So if you think you were better off with one of Holdens Billion dollar babies, think again! THEY always win cause the WHEELS' JUDGES are BIAS! Put the holden emblem on the Aurion I can guaranteed you that it will win CAR OF THE YEAR LOL
  2. I have a website, but i'm paying $10/month. quite cheap IMO (if you're living in USA, you only need to pay $3/month). Other than that I can't help you...
  3. just a quick question, what's to get: Tripod or Monopod?? Ive got the Nikon D80
  4. you can try: 1) heat up the area (using a heatgun or hair dryer) 2) then use those air spray cleaner (basically its a can spray filled with air for cleaning dust, get them from Dicksmith) 3) use the can spray upside down and spray it on the area (sprays out a really cold liquid) 4) just wait and see the reaction hopefully if everything goes to plan, the dents will pop back out. :) there is a video on Youtube (I think) about this technique. so search it and tell us how you go ;)
  5. get one of those touch up pen and should be good.. my parent's camry got egged couple of nights ago... luckily they missed the body! (got the window)
  6. yeah sadly getting a new key from Toyota is expensive. As the GEN 4 have a built in immobilizer, the key has a built in chip. Not sure how to program the Chip inside the key, but I know how to program the keyless remote. You really don't have any other option other than Toyota. You might be able to get some imitations but just beware!
  7. to all Starlet owners, I'm planning to get a Toyota Starlet and just want to know what needs to be done on the 200,000km service? also what's the cost for the service? thanks!

    Exhaust tip

^that's right! that's a 3" tip! I used to have it and no sound different after putting it on
  9. Sounds as if the shop focused on aligning the wheels only, without taking notice of the steering wheel direction. Heh dont bother removeing and re-aligning the steering wheel...sounds easy but its not. Personally I would have it re-aligned (for piece of mind)..... Brad totally agree with Brad! There's something suss about the shop you went to get the alignment! Go to midas, K-mart auto (NOT recommended there though), JAX, etc... when you ask for a wheel alignment they do the aligning of all wheel and the steering! Unless you tell them NOT to do it (which they would NOT recommend)
  10. received a message saying "internal error" <_<

    How?

pull the black plastic, first you need to take out the ashtray n cigarette lighter, start pulling from the bottom and work your way up. Do it slowly and DONT RUSH! then there are 4 bolts holding the cd n box. unscrew them and you're done :D

    Exhaust tip

what are you talking about?! the tip doesnt determine the sound of the exhaust....
  13. well about time someone put these useful info up!
  14. I am eyeing a 4 cylinder, currently I have a 350,000 km falcon and its giving us a lot of maintenance problem and we had spent about $2k-$3k on maintenance alone. I was hoping to get a newer car so that we don't have to spend so much in maintenance. 4cyc?? <_< why don't you get a V6 Camry would be much nicer and gets up the hills with ease. well anyway back to the topic.....make sure you check the car carefully before making a purchase, especially check the engine oil (look inside, bring a torch, if its clear and you can see the bottom then the car has been maintained properly. If you can see oil stick to the walls then stay away). Also I would also clean the Throttle body, filter and the butterfly (if you do get the V6 ).
  15. hmm......what exactly is "machined brake rotors" ??? is this like resurfacing the rotors?
  16. Not on the Yaris sedan...just Odometer and 2 Tripmeters. do you have a picture?? where is it located?
  17. Hi all, I've seen the Pioneer AVIC-D3 all over USA. But why can't I find them on eBay.com.au nor Pioneer.com.au <_< Also my other question, why is it that Pioneer Australia only have the AVIC-DH3 (costs $3,400aud) while on the other hand, the AVIC-D3 (shown on the pic) is only Rrp $1,000usd from Pioneer USA:rolleyes: (i've seen $700usd on ebay.com) **I know if i get them from USA they might not work here <_< (i've emailed Pioneer Australia, so hopefully they can shine a light!)

    GPS units

^with those bluetooth GPS receiver, if you trying to use them in or near high rise buildings, it's very hard to connect to the satellites! (happened to me, switched the GPS receiver off, then turning it on after 30mins later, couldn't connect...but once we were outside CBD we were connected. but the only major difference between a mobile phone GPS n a Portable GPS System, the Portable GPS System has better/stronger satellites receiver. What i mean by this is that, if you're inside your house, with the bluetooth GPS receiver you won't be able to connect, while the Portable GPS might give you 1-2 satellites and yet it still can calculate your route.
  21. no pictures??? <_< lucky you! I might use my flybuys points and hire a prius!
