  1. LOL ... sorry mate .... just taking a crack at a few ppl ...... and yes we do houmos and tabouli ;) ;) ;) ok regarding the charger ..... mate again seriously depends on what u wanna run and how .... ok firstly do u wanna run an intercooler ? if yes then that means the greddy is out so now u can either go blitz off the shelf or another custom charging route. Regarding the rotrex type setup yes ur gonna have to some modifying with all the bits and pieces in the left hand bottom corner in the bay there i.e the abs etc. When customing pretty much anything is possible ..... again if ur DIY'ing then yeah u can pretty much fab wat every u want ..... the only issues ur gonna run into is ur gonna b the first 2 fiddle in a stivo engine bay for a super charger perspective so ull run into all the niggly issues ..... how do i know .... via my turbo setup .... i ran into many little niggly issue here and there that we had 2 work around that cost that bit extra here n there or had 2 undo something we just did 2 work around it etc ..... U could go the lotus S path and have a nice cooler hanging out of the bonnet You can re-route the piping and have the intercooler in front with that type of supercharger. Not sure if there is space for the extension bracket so the alternator can move forward.
  2. Well I supposed that Scion Tc set up is possible, but I am not sure if the shaft will causes clearance issue with the bonnet. It have to go cross the intake manifold, then you got the s/c sitting high also. Quite complex.
  3. http://www.trdusa.com/featuredpart.cfm?part=tcsupercharger From your description, is this what it would look like? The air/con is not the problem. Space is the problem, and if you want to mount the rotrex inside corolla engine bay looks like the best bet is to replace the a/c compressor with a rotrex compressor. But of course if u can move the ABS unit, you can install the supercharger compressor just like that white 1zz-fe corolla. By the way, anyone knows how's the progress with that 1zz-fe s/c>?
  4. That's looking like the Scion S/C by TRD, i think its made by Vortech. Someone with camry 2.4 can use that kit too.
  5. Anyway, back to topic. So from the look of it, s/c the corolla 2zz-ge/1zz-fe can be tricky, and the easiest way to do it is go with blitz and TRD respectively. Quite expensive, but less headache and can deliver results. I mentioned before by removing the a/c compressor, it looks like mounting rotrex there is possible. I'm not a technical expert here, but what seems to be the matters is to mount it so it is in-line with the belt. If I remember correctly, there was an orange painited 2zz-ge engine with rotrex and its from U.K, and I think thats what he did also.
  6. Yeah thats the one. I kinda think its perhaps hp reading, not kw as the owner said, but who knows. If you look the black graph, that NA figure reads close to 130hp, which translates almost 100kw. Its quite accurate for 2zz-ge to push 100kw at wheels (But thats with CamCon tuine...). So anyway, I was in the same thinking with rollamods, 200hp wheels is much more realistic me than 200kw wheels. Not to offend the owner though, and if it did 200kw wheels he just made one amazing s/c kit.
  7. New Lancer looks so cool. But both the hatch and the sedan have a sort of Alfa looking rear end to me. I thought I saw Brera in that rear shot of the Lancer.
  8. Its a good buy the Euro. I think its quite the best sedan you can buy for your wallet. Its not that big inside, but its much more comfortable to drive than Sportivo - which is all that matters for the baby on board. By the way, what are the features of the Ltd Edition Euro?
  9. In 1zz-fe corolla, If you take out the aircon compressor, then you can place your rotrex there. Its impossible to mount the rotrex anywhere else inside the corolla engine bay thats equipped with ABS. Anyone saw the celica rotrex dyno yet? Its producing amazing results.
  10. EVO magazine from UK titled the new Civic Type R as king of hot hatch. R32 doesn't cut the mustard, they prefer GTi because its less expensive and offer not much of a difference performance. In fact GTi is second in this contest, first being the Type R. Why Type R? They said because its the most well balance hot hatch. They don't even fancy the MPS. Now lift is 5200rpm too, and sail your way to 8200rpm or so. In Europe however, it is cheaper than most of the hot hatch.
  11. what is happening in that picture.
  12. Well, Toyota is heading to better interior I believe. So I don't think they will always be conservative. Do you guys know Toyota ist? A funkier echo, known as Scion Xa in USA. They're pretty cool inside. My cousin got one in Indonesia, and I enjoy driving that little funky car. Of course, Aurion/Camry is segmented to mature audience, so I believe there should be something more, well, creative in design. Hey look at the new Toyota Corolla interior, how cool is that? :)
  13. How's the noise in lift? It makes glorious buzzing noise on 1zz-fe, i was hoping an even more buzzing noise on lift. Ever since i put this muffler, I never shift at 3000rpm ever again where possible, must do it above 4000rpm to listen to that wonderful sound.
  14. One thing I think camry/aurion need some flair is the interior. Its very conservative. Reminded me of German car where everythign is simple and ergonomics. When it comes to interior, I believe none can beat the Italian car makers.
  15. I gotta say, the Aurion does look good. The VE, looks good too, but i don't find it as interesting as the Aurion. Actually, I think Camry Sportivo looks the biz. The Aurion should've used the Camry body instead.
  16. Celica don't have standard air-con, which is shocking because its a $40,000 car. But that was the past.
  17. Ouw, nice. I really want to hear how the S10 would sound like during lift. Describe to us how it sounded.
