  1. You got to pay to play they said Plus TRD engine kit is not cheap to begin with However, from N/A point of view, I think thats a nice gain considering there is no sacrifice in the power curve. Even the tourqe is increased quite nicely too. I wonder if its possible to run 13:1 ratio with 98octane fuel at all by ECU tuning. And of course it must be reliable. And just when your accountant screams in madness to see your outstanding bills, you show him/her your just-purchased Kaaz's ultra-short ratio and final drive, complete with LSD, flywheel and clutch.
  2. Funny the JDM Celica have a lower power figure than AUS. However check out the power at top end with the TRD engine kit. The power curves doesn't goes down once it reaches its peak. In fact it looks like it keeps going up, maybe its good for another 1000rpm or more.
  3. STi in Japan will be sedan and here's a forum that said so Pics included http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/subaru-t...8-sti-pics.html It looks like photoshop, but if its going to look like that then I guess its even tougher to pick STi or the X. That STi looks like a Jet fighter while the X looks like a brawler.
  4. Yeah the Alfa running cost is very high. One of the Alfa owner that I met strongly reccomend Selenia oil for Alfa and nothing else. The 3.2 V6 requires 6 litres of oil, and per litre of Selenia suited for that 3.2 V6 cost you $20 (Sold per can of 1 litre). Of course you would want some extra of litre just in case u need to top up. Service is standard European car service price, $400 - $500 per 10,000km. But I supposed you would want to change the oil every 5000km, which u can do yourself, then bring in for service each 10,000km. These cost figures would be the same if not similar for the V6 3.0 Litre cost of maintenance.
  5. I love the Alfa V6. With your money, you should be able to buy the 3.0 litre version, which is still fabulous. I driven my friend's 3.0 V6 GTV, although a bit cramped inside (I'm not big either), the driving positions and pedal positions are great. I was in the market for GTA once, so what I can suggest you do is find out what the owner is like, because Alfa demands strict attention. If the person bring his car to service to Lance Dixon Alfa, most likely its well taken care example. Lance Dixon is the best service centre for Alfa in Melbourne approved by all Melbourne Alfa enthusiast. I'll get back to you for this alfa romeo website I found to be useful. http://alfaowner.com/Forum/
  6. http://www.trc-tuning.com/_products/_toyot...eroover_01f.jpg I've been searching for this bodykit for a long time since i saw it back 4 years ago. That TRC tuning web is legend!

  8. X-Force S10 is also a great alternative.
  9. Whats the estimated amount of tourqe a stroker kit produces? I find it very interesting.
  10. For the expense, the hassle and mostly for the relaibility issues, I would be selling the Corolla and getting a Rex or a MPS. The Corolla sportivo is deisgned for 143kw. That means that the engine internals, gearbox internals, driveshaft, Fuel system, engine mounts, engine internals, cooling system, etc is all deisgned around an engine that makes 143kw at the flywheel. 150kw atw means about 200kw at the flywheel. My problem would be reliability. Once you start getting these numbers, then you will start seeing the life of other components that you haven't stregnthened, seriously deteriorate. Eventually it becomes an unrelaible money pit. If you want a car that has 200kw then let the manufacturer spend millions in development work to make sure everything is strengthened. I have been down this path before and invested tens of thousands. It went faster than a turbo porsche, but there is a reason those things cost 300k. Anyhting more than intake, exhaust and chip, and you had better have a good mechanic and lots of spare cash in the account. It might take a while to start to see the effects, but once you strengthen one thing, then somehting else becomes the weakest link. You will also never be able to sell it. Just my humble opinion. I agree. All-Motor heaven.
  11. Maybe you should change your nick to something else and not something that reads 'Explosion'. Haha, sorry I was just joking.
  12. When you install WildCat, you need to shift back the Catalytic so it gives enough room for flex joint to be installed between the end of the header and the catalytic. Sure you can use your standard piping which is then shortened a little - but may aswell install new and bit bigger piping. Then comes in new muffler if you haven't already have one, which in many cases requires new axle-back piping to begin with. So in the end, you may aswell change the whole lot (except for the catalytic).
  13. I saw a silver Levin with roof racks, and a muffler that looks to be X-Force twin loop on the way to Airport at around 10:30pm.
  14. When it comes to Italian car, its design is appreciated as if it is a boutique clothing. So who pen the design of this car?
  15. I love it. Come to think about it, its kinda like VW beetle and Mini hybrid. Bellissimo~!
  16. So I was told the wrong information then. Sorry if I causes any shock or excitements.
  17. I was told the SA factory was completely shut down due to bad QC.
  18. Yeah that make sense. Afterall, the Toyota bodykit actually have aerodynamic purpose ( I forgot who or where i read that). So What pippy and 1zz-fe said could be valid. Oh yeah, even the TRD front bumper (the one that looks to have smiley face) reduce more drag co-ef! Technology from its Supra JGTC!
  19. It does the job though. Much like Z06 shocking leaf spring, but happens to corner as good as ferrari. Outdated technology can still delivers satisfactory job.
  20. i like the camaro shot. it looks as if the car came from inter galactic space, glowing with glory.
  21. Hi Nick, It would be great to catch up with you again, however I have to go to church aroun 10:30am. So yeah perhaps some other time. Sorry, I know you asked me twice to come to the meet now but every sunday is church day for me :) Oh yeah, congratulations on your wedding. Wish you the best for your family. How is the DMS so far? I hope it still performs like it should. If I remember correctly, you have TRD shifter, TRD CAI - along with the TRD front and rear Strut bar. Waw, thats almost half of TRD catalogue inside your car. Perfect for spirited driver like you :)
