this is only half related: in regards to painting, i will be happy to have a group painting session with anybody with a cascade blue car... i have eyelids and a front lip (and hopefully side skirts soon) to paint... so if you wanna jump in with your wing tips and any other parts you need painted, lets head down to that cheap place Nek was talking about and get some painting done!

my car is SO filthy... i drove down a dirt road when the car was already overdue for a wash... its just ridiculous now... if the weather is good saturday ill wash it, otherwise ill be coming with a seriously bad car... and pete dont be a girl you gotta come along!! its not the same without those awkward (but very attractive) tailights to follow...

i think it will take a long time... too many people are petrol car purists, and until they can provide the same power out of an alternative power source for the same price, petrol cars and their prices wont suffer all that much... what im more scared about is the future of manual transmission... a few companies are going auto only, or the best you can get is tiptronic style shifting... thats lame.
