Definently worth getting done, makes the car that much more better/easier to drive. It feels so much more free flowing after 4k. sorry but i cant really remember how much but i think i paid 300 n something to do a swap with ported headers. but that was about 1 yr or more ago. Got it done at westside mufflers in padstow.

Yeah , its worth giving it a try. Question is ... what do you do if you catch them ? Film it and present it to the police ? or carry a baseball bat and issue some well deserved payback ? Baseball bat first (obviously not recording that part) and then police :D

I agree with armstrong, park your car in the same spot but watch it from a distance and see if you can catch who ever did it incase it did happen to be one of the pple living near there.

See on the other hand i did pedders, and they only have the low all round combo. and honestly im not happy, I still want to go low/superlow combo (it handles well but the height difference just kills me), but then again ive never had the l/sl set up so i wouldnt know whats better handling wise.

u could also do whiteline rear sway and front strut, i think there about $140 each from bursons auto parts. There the first sussy mods i did and i noticed a fair bit of change in handling.

Use to search function, theres so many topics relating to exhaust and there prices and so on. With your price range you could do king springs and lower it. should improve handling a fair bit over stock.

How about Man UP??.....na jks, on a serious note if its that bad, why not just put a towel or seatcovers on the car when your not in it so that way when you do climb into your car the seats arnt sizzling. I doubt they'll get hot while your driving and moving around and if you got ac, then why not give that a try.

X2 And with mandrel you dont loose any diameter in the pipe through the bends, therefore it stays 2.5" the whole way through.

Thanks for the info anyway. I went my mechanics this morning and he tested the sensor and found air intake problem, ordered a new one and its working. God only knows how it stuffed up seeing as i was driving it all day yesterday and by pure coincidence when i changed my filter yesterday arvo it happend to stuff up. Hi guys, well ive been driving my car all day and not one single problem, so anyway i decide to change the pod filter on the CAI this arvo in preperation for tomorows cruise. Now this is what has happend.. The car idles fine, but whenever the edge of the maf sensor gets grounded(the triangle shaped sides that the actuall screws go into) the car ends up stalling. Which means as soon as i SCREW it into the cai its fine, but if i move the cai and it touchs the metal of the car INSTANT STALLAGE. I didnt even touch the sensor when i changed the cai this arvo but now ive got all sorts of problems. Now ive had the cai for nearly 2 yrs, and yes the cai has hit the metal of the car before and no problems have occured. I just cant understand how in the period of 10 mins i ended up having this problem. Its not the clip or the sensor cause it works when its in the cai or even when i jiggle it around. Its as i said, just when the edges of the sensor touch ground. Ive cleaned the sensor and that hasnt helped, im pretty definent that its caused by what i mentioned about the grounding. Ive taken the sensor out of the cai and tried tapping the edges along something else metal thats grounded such as the strut brace and the car stalls as well. There no fuse blowing or shorting just the car stalling. In idle i can rev the car as high as i want and no warning lights pop up. ive really reached a dead end. Ill have to try to get it to an auto elec or mechanic 2moro Any thoughts or suggestions would be a great help. thanks guys

Dont forget the majority of people on this forum are car enthusiasts and absolutely love their car, which means thats theve taken care of it and serviced it and treated it like a new born (at least i do anyway lol) so its not just the mods as to why people are asking for a little higher. Another thing is that redbook is just the averages of what they should sell for, i know its states the price bracket/per kilometres the cars travelled but i dont think it takes into consideration the condition the car has been in and how its been looked after. So if people are asking a little higher its cause they know whats they've done to their cars and what they would pay if they would buy it off someone else that was selling it like them.
