  1. Some people like to replace their stock shocks and yet still retain certain stock comfort/characteristics. Not everyone is after total performance,
  2. I say make it a little earlier so we can go for a spirited run through the hills... :) That would totally be a good idea.
  3. Present it to the court as evidence. Since there is quite a large difference between speeds recorded, it can be argued the police scanner was not accurate. Precedence can be drawn from past cases, and as I recall there was quite a bit of an argument not too long ago as to how accurate these scanners the police use actually are.
  4. Just letting you guys know, some fella in Yankyland went to Injen and got a CAI developed for his 1.8 2ZR-FE. Attached pictures you will see the prototype only, as it is not going to be on sale until May 15th. As you all know, they only sell the sedan version of Corollas over there, so with regards to whether it'll fit the hatch, I really do not know. You'll have to put the hatch next to the sedan and see if there are any differences with location and whether there will be sufficient room. Please visit this to see, top left hand corner of the page http://www.injen.com/ More info go to http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=294428
  5. LOL LETZZ GO TO DA HILLZ WE CRUIZE DERE WITH A LIL SPIRITED DRIVEEEE HEY LOL
  6. :o where in perth jeremy? leach Not sure if you guys were old enough to hear about this or were around back then, but there was a period of a few months about 12-13 years ago where kids did that on a constant basis. It was a hype that kids were doing, except they actually managed to take a person's life. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe it happened in Perth on the freeway off the bridge of Glendalough train station (the one in leedy). In the end a group of kids got caught, and the 'throwing-object-off-a-bridge' hype stopped. I don't know what it is kids get up to, but I swear some of them don't get proper education. They grow up being dropkicks and their next generation behaves like them and the cycle continues.
  7. William, Your car is coming along great! I like the exhaust note, nice and subtle. Glad to see some unique work being done. Hope you're enjoying the fun of it all! Jase
  8. Welcome mate! Good to see the Perth Toyota scene growing, although I can't say there are many 4x4's on this forum...except 1 off the top of my head. Feel free to join our cruises and meets in the meet section of the forum. Enjoy your stay buddy! Jase
  9. I'm sorry but that car looks bloody ridiculous. Not my cuppa.
  10. STALKER!!! Yes my cover has been blown. I was at Uni with Jeremy ;)
  11. Australian Competition & Consumer Commission
  12. nah screw you ay! thats mean! i dont bag you and your car! It's OK, one of the boys here will pick you up. I'm sure she'll reverse into another something bigger than a bin sometime soon. (P.S. I'll bet her mum built a house behind her car) When is our next cruise going to be anyway? Has it been organised yet?
  13. Probably a bit late on contributing, Leroy is correct. Especially after finding out certain things today. (CRIMINALS/SERIAL KILLERS GET THE MONEY TOO) It's not just spending on infrastructure as such, but money being spent to create job opportunities (there are numerous ways this can happen without much of a hitch). Hell getting a small project started only takes about a couple of weeks to approve if they're that keen to stimulate the economy. Start by building houses to accommodate those in need of a roof. We have a major rental housing shortage, especially now where people can't meet their mortgage repayments and have to sell their house and go back to renting. My more than reliable sources at Suncorp Metway have said they're seizing houses because people can't meet the repayment deadline. You think we had a problem with rental property last year? You wait for a while and next 3-4 months will be major disaster, and rent is only going to go up unless the Government really start doing something. The way I see in from an economy point of view, putting money into hospitals and infrastructure is way more effective. Think about it, how long would it take for the many 'out of job' people to make the $900 within a week or two? Instead of giving handouts to those undeserved people (i.e. Petrol sniffers, law breakers, those who refuse to work and sit at home getting the dole milking the taxpayers for all they're worth). Plus what is the guarantee that they will be spending it on the economy the correct way? I'm a Marketing Manager for a corporate travel company and I see all my clients coming in booking flights to overseas destinations that they had planned a long time ago anyway. Asking them about the extra money they're getting, they say they're taking it with them to spend overseas. COME ON! Yeah OK, the government hand is tied and it's forced to go into deficit to boost the economy. Those who have no education would say "OH MY LORD HE'S SPENDING OUR MONEY AND GOING INTO DEFICIT AGAIN". The major problem here is we're going about it the wrong way. I especially have a problem with those who (shall I leave the racial background out of this) have 6 kids, milk the government and just sit at home doing bugger all? They get $900 for not doing anything, another $950 for being a single parent. And from what I was told an extra $950 for each kid they have. I'm sorry to say this but that is my tax money given to those who don't deserve a single cent. /end rant
  14. Negative. Fact: BCs are not made by the same company as the ones that make G4s and D2s. I confirmed this with a representative from their Taiwanese international trade office + the guy JIN bought his coilovers from (an importer from New Zealand who sells them over the internet on ebay as well). Assumptions: People who think all cheap coilovers are made by the same company in Taiwan, thus the general assumption that all Taiwanese products are crap. Speculation: Bor Chuann (BC) are said to make coilovers for HKS and numerous other lesser known aftermarket support companies in Japan, but sprayed a different colour. I've come across a few threads that say that, but I cannot confirm 100% If you actually go search through some google junk, you'd come across a few genuine threads (namely Subaru & Honda forums) whose users have nothing but praise for the BC coilovers. Don't know about performance under heavy track work, but they have also noted these are really good products to use for the price you pay, under drift condition.
  15. that was a joke right...? HAHAHAHA joking on what part.....? My car not being in the best of condition or the model part..... But truth is, most of those girls are snobbed up molez.... they ususally fkn give me an evil eye, and im not even a part of the auto salon, just looking. mmm... were joking bout been one of them "slutty stuck up moles" - which, well, alot of them arent sluts, they are in fact just promotions girls or models that have a job to do. And why would they give u an evil eye? do u stare them down cos ur ugly and they're not?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA sorry i couldn't help myself. simo, would you get me to pose for your car and take pictures if i ever turned up in a mankini? ;)

  17. dual tip on each side. dunno if it'd be too extreme thou? Nah, it'd look sick. Cut the springs to complete the look and performance. (I still vouch for the 2.5" piping)
  18. 4" chrome tip def... will look sik with those bertha rims. +1 Plus, your boyfriend is wrong. A 2.25" would be too restrictive, perhaps a 2.5" would be better suited to your car so it releases gases easier. B) Jaaaassseeee, I dont mind poor cosmetic advise but poor performance advice... well...l. 4AFE isnt the performance engine like your 2zz, and 2.5" is too big. 2.25 is plenty big for the 4A series engine. gotta keep those gasses moving quickly to keep the torque above nothing. Jesus, was I even being serious?

  20. Hey... was wondering if this will work on like a dent the size of say...a 5-10 cent coin? (you know...the typical door slap onto the side of your car from other pricks...)
